Was thinking the same too when i was about to buy G500, but then i decide to give G500 a go since the shape was the same with G5. Comfortable to hold, just need to ditch the weight thingy.

Not sure for wireless mice in which around your budget.
I'd say major pc store will have. Do check out garage sales if you want to purchase online / COD. You are welcome. Can consider above recommendation too, logitech G300.

G500 seems to be quite perfect until it goes haywire. and the braided cable worn out, i think i got the bad one.

Which version number you need? Try look at logitech forum.
Found 6.52, not sure compatible with G700.
