corsair m40...izzit consider a good mouse for it price or just go for m60/65?
*
m40
-optical sensor up to 4000dpi
-plastic chassis
-possibly lighter than m65 (unconfirmed, weight specs are not mentioned)

m65
-laser sensor up to 8200dpi
-an additional button for thumb
-aluminium chassis
-possibly heavier than m40 (again unconfirmed)

-do you intend to use over 4000dpi?
-optical sensors have little to no acceleration, lasers will always have some hardware accel.
-m65 has a sturdier built
-only rm30+- difference between those two smile.gif

What mouse should I get ? Razer deathadder 2013 or the newest naga ? And also suggest me a mouse mat pls
*
and also do bear in mind that da 2013 is flatter and more suitable for palm grip while naga is for claw grip.
Personally i find da too large for my hands while naga(old) fits my hands just right smile.gif

Dear sifu's

Anyone can recommend a budget gaming mouse budget around RM100 to RM150.

For casual mmorpg usage.

Thanks.

Most mmo mouse are out of your budget. I have Logitech g300, it has 6 extra buttons aside from right, left and scroll wheel. Might come in handy for you smile.gif

I have these 2 mouse. It comes down to whether you prefer palm or claw grip. Some good info for you here. Typically, I am into palm grip when i'm gaming, so I prefer the G400. While at work, my style switches to claw grip, so I use G300 in my office. My advise, go and audit both yourself and see which best suits you. On the overall, I prefer the G400 as it's bigger and suits my palm size more. The G300 on the other hand is quite a small mouse. Usually gaming mouse have a significantly higher DPI settings, that enables you very fast and smooth tracking, which can sometimes help when you have a very large monitor (display). tongue.gif It all depends on your own personal preference though.
*
and g400 tracks well at high dpi while g300 doesn't. with g400 you can go as high as 3600dpi and 2500dpi for g300 smile.gif

Razer Abyssus or Steelseries Kinzu v2/ pro or Steelseries Ikari or ....

I'm a FPS gamer (blackshot) and Dota2 (less)
Looking for BEST MOUSE for Right handed , palm gripper.
Comfort first, fancy look second
PLEASE CONTRIBUTE!!!
*
i would suggest logitech g400, suitable for palm gripping and an excellent sensor.

abyssus has very good sensor as well but it is mainly for claw/finger gripping, you can still try to palm though.

kinzu v2 pro is kinda small for palming (i already have difficulties palming the slightly larger kana) and tracking is only good till 1600dpi. 3200dpi is interpolated.

never tried ikari so i can't give comments on that smile.gif

How does the DPI affect FPS gameplay? ohmy.gif
*
it doesn't affect your gameplay unless you intend to play at very high dpi's (very, very fast cursor movements)
or play with multiple monitor setups (in this case faster cursor movements across multiple screens)

most of us don't use our mouse beyond 2000dpi(subjective) so.. just to tell you if you need insane dpi's on optical mouse da2013 has it.

I dont think I need high DPi coz Im just a normal gamer.
And I'm just looking for a mouse which is precise so that I can get kills easily.
Which mouse would you recommend?
Is it true Optical sensor is better? And what's the diferrence between optical and laser, or maybe dual sensor.
*
g400, or da2013 base on your preferences for palm grip.

Optical
-little to no hardware acceleration
-max dpi up to 4000dpi (da 2013 is an exception, tracks equally well at 6400dpi)
-higher lift off distance (LOD)
-some mouse may experience jittering and tracks badly at high dpi (e.g. kana tracks badly at 1600dpi, 3200dpi)

Laser
-5%~10% hardware acceleration
-max dpi up to 8200dpi(excluding ss sensei which has processor in it to double its dpi up to 11,400 dpi)
-low LOD (i could be wrong)
-might have z-axis issues on some older sensors (cursors moves towards southeast of the screen when mouse is lifted.)

Just slowly coming to know of common issues related to mouse. tongue.gif So what is a tell-tale sign of bad tracking? Does it mean that the cursor movement isn't smooth? The cursor doesn't go where you intend it to be?

at 1600dpi it starts to skip pixels and even visible at 3200dpi sweat.gif
ideally you do not want to play fps on mouse that skips pixels smile.gif

tested with my kana dota 2 btw.

the image below is taken from another site, the jittering and pixel skipping is more visible compared to mine.
