There are plenty of stocks for Gamdias at All IT Digital Mall. smile.gif

I'm also intrigued by its design but don't know whether the software is good or not. Plus, it's not really cheap as well. sweat.gif

just wondering, did u fully utilized the G700 buttons. Sudden change from so many buttons to DA 2013 biggrin.gif hahaha

yup, totally did not utilize most of them, only when play dota will use 4 of the thumb buttons haha..

Well, u must admit that Logitech does give u a lot of value at that price point. tongue.gif

Razer Mamba 4G? Hell no! Crappy laser which jumps around. Had it for around 2 weeks or so and battery died. Bad luck. But the sensor keeps jumping around which is freaking annoying. I rather suggest u get Ouroboros instead. Heard some feedbacks from my friend, it's quite good.
*
ouroboros heard that it is not as comfy as DA or mamba, or even g700. logitech is very best value la.. but, the mouse is nearly 2 yrs and i got this double click shit.. sad.gif normally logitech mouse how many yrs warranty? maybe i should RMA it..

Ouroboros can adjust mah and ambidextrous mouse is not as bad as u think. But I have to agree that the mouse is not for everyone and also I feel that that's the only mouse from Razer which is the best so far. Otherwise, my recommendation is still Logitech G700S since G700 already EOL. Logitech if not mistaken has 3-year limited hardware warranty as stated in their site. But for previous products, I'm not sure whether it is 3 years or 1 year.

Now is 3 years.

Why DA2013?

Why not Taipan? Or SS Sensei?

Hi boys!

Been lurking for a while now and I'm really looking forward to buying myself a quality mouse. Hope you guys can help.

Thus far, I've tried the following:

1. Razer Abyssus - This seems to be the de facto standard for quality cyber cafés in KL. Medium-sized, optical (infrared?), DPI switches underneath (450/1800/3500) with a minimalist design. For RM130, this is value! That said, the parts used are cheaper. One cyber cafe staff told me that these stuff last about 6 months at most before it becomes junk.

2. Steelseries Kana - bought the Dota 2 edition. Shame on me, impulse buy. But it did come with a nice mousepad. It's still cheaper than buying it seperately. It's smaller than the Abyssus by a bit. Has harder left/right buttons and two super soft side buttons. Love the fact that there is a DPI switcher right next to the scroll wheel. I can switch from gaming mode (1600) to photoshop mode (400) with ease.

Retails for RM189. Not sure how long this will last, but I'm sure the cheap Omron switches are not designed for abuse. Looks wise, I prefer the Kana to the Abyssus. I just love the red glow on the underside.

3. Roccat Savu and Kone - these guys have been hawking their wares to a lot of cyber cafés in KL. It's irritating that DPI adjustments can only be made through their software. Both mice don't really allow your palm to rest on it. The indentations for fingers encourages an eagle-claw grip. This is not for me. Button placements appear weird. Left/right buttons seem to sink too low. Side buttons were pressed easily by accident due to the grip. The overall experience was uncomfortable. Unlike the above mentioned mice, Roccat's optical sensors really needs a cloth mousepad to function optimally. Final, albeit trivial, remark: The LED colors would cycle like a Pink Floyd video - it only makes sense if you're high on drugs.

4. Razer Deathadder - tried these out at Orange Stadium Setapak. Cool beans! It's freaking huge! Good for people like me that can palm grip a basketball. This is like the Abyssus XL. I've not seen the spec sheet, but I'm pretty sure that the Deathadder switches "feels" better than the Abyssus, Roccat and Kana. Retails for just below RM200.

Conclusion/tl;dr: I'm inclined to buy a Deathadder to be brought to cyber cafés. Is it a good buy? If not, please recommend something else. I want it big, sensitive and it must last.

Thanks in advance.

The biggest mouse I've ever used is Deathadder for sure. I don't know, maybe DA is a good buy. I myself am using it biggrin.gif
Bout the long lasting, some of the forumers said that DA have quite a long life span. You can check in the Razer thread. The other choice is Logitech G series.
Before I bought DA I was seriously into buying G400s, but then they don't have any lighting tongue.gif So I bought DA

I think there is slight fanboyism with taxer product.

To me I felt its toyish and other forums said that it's quality really questionable.

Well it's all luck but no doubt DA is still favorite amongst gamers smile.gif

No box required to claim warranty. And it's better to claim it yourself at the distro such as MCL & etc.

But you'll need the receipt though. Plus, email the Logitech support team before you go claim warranty at the distro for faster process. Their customer support is excellent.

Just get the DA. I have no regrets in getting the DA before I was deciding for the G500. One of the best choice in my life. Haha..

This is one of the most comfortable mouse around especially if you have big hands like you mentioned. And the sensor is just brilliant. I'm on a DA refresh edition. I have no idea on the DA2013 though.

Thanks for all the advice everyone!

Bought DA Black from Lingloong aka Dotatech, whom I highly recommend. Cheapest price I found (not mentioning it, since he requires people to PM him).

OK, enough promotion for Lingloong. What about the DA?

I love it! Big and comfortable. Since Black has no glow, it does not attract the attention of thieves. Nice. Well, I unplug it whenever I leave my PC when I'm in a CC anyway.

But... I HAVE A BLOODY BIG PROBLEM WITH SYNAPSES 2.0. Having to INSTALL AND LOG IN to SYNAPSES 2.0 every time I go to a cyber cafe is STUPID. Having Razer install cookies in my browser is STUPID. Having Razer selling my email address is STUPID. Having Razer spying on what I surf and what I play is STUPID.

Until they get rid of it, I will be recommending LOGITECH G400 or SS SENSEI to my gaming friends.

That said, I've overcome the problem by installing their so-called LEGACY DRIVERS. It's actually hidden in their support pages. Not very friendly of them.

Consider this fair warning to future gaming mice hunters.

Synapse 2.0 does not always have to be online to use the features. Once logged in once, users settings are synced from the cloud onto the computer. If for any reason the Internet connection is lost, Synapse will automatically shift into offline mode, and peripheral use is uninterrupted.

The point is, every time I go to a CC, I have to download Synapses 2.0 and log in. That is dumb.
