yea..depend.. not necessarily gaming...can be handy on software too such as photoshop.. u can set macro too.

as for Roccat Kova, i never try that mouse..so i can't comment..

*that mouse quite small for certain ppl, but nicely fit my hand.

much better if u try that mouse 1st & yea, its for claw-gripper ... spec wise, it comes with 2500dpi, 9buttons, personalize 8colours LED, 3profile on-board memory & more... let see if this can help u in ur strategic game.

I wud recommend g300, design good, ergonomic n sturdy oso affordable...

and how it differs with a strategy/rpg gaming mouse?

G300 is not ergonomic mouse...I guess u need to clear on the meaning of ergonomic mouse... Ergo mouse characterised as mouse designed to fit a more natural hand position when being used. Means its fit either lefthand or righthand, not both... example of ergo mouse is Deathadder.


while G300 is ambidextrous mouse which fits both left/right hand user.

for fps, typically, we need high DPI (depend on user) , some extrabuttons for switch dpi (for rpg, usually u need lots of buttons), not too light,& too heavy, & its design must provide comfort to the user (ambi/ergo)

oh my mistake, sory bout tat, juz confuse between ergo n ambi...

been using kova almost a year now..very satisified..
very ideal for small hands like me
