I can on the phone and it works if i connect it to the charger.
If i do not connect to the charger, phone will boot as normal. once the phone starts, it will show battery as 0% and will shut down.
So after many people tried to fix the problem, they say it is hardware problem.

the choise of repair is.
1. repair/replace bq27520 system-side Li-Ion battery fuel gauge microcontroller chip
2. change motherboard.

do you know how much it will cost to replace motherboard for xperia arc?
ps. Regarding to brick, the phone is not brick yet as i know how to unbrick the phone.

also tried already.
installed stock firmware. upgrade firmware, upgrade to latest ICS, Flash to custom rom, all also never fix the problem.

Do u charge for checking the problem?
Also after run jtag still problem occur, do i need to pay?

Hye, i have a galaxy nexus that will only boot into

-download mode,
- fastboot (not working at all, pc wont detect its fastboot and buttons all dead when in recovey/fastboot)
- safe mode - will boot into safe mode if i did combo buttons when attached to charger/pc

When i booted it from batt pull via only power button press, it will go into download mode straight and if i power off or factory reset in safe mode, it will reboot back into safe mode.

I cant flash anything since fastboot is broken. Ive tried Odin back to factory image of Galaxy Nexus GSM ICS and Jellybean but the prob isnt solved and fastboot is still broken. Tried repartition and bootloader update in ODIN yet still fail.

Other hardwares are still fine as in safe boot, ive tested all the buttons, display, calls, speaker etc. This is fastboot relate i believe
