just bought this game and played it over the weekend.

the game's turn-based wif AP as base and the ability...reminds me of fallout...i think this is what ppl would've expect fallout 3 should be. better, colourful graphic, smoother interface instead of a FPS-turn-based game...well, not that i complaining...fallout 3 still a good game coming from a person that played fallout 3 prior to fallout 1 and 2. tongue.gif

the crafting parts remind me of minecraft/terraria...guidance is there but i dun think it's what everyone expected. u wont know whether something can be mixed or not until u drop the hammer into the tomato and pop-up a window asking u how many tomato sauce u want...

btw...i'm still figuring out how to cook with the cooking pot...can someone guide me? thanks

after few hours into the game...i just managed to reach the crime scene and leveled up to lvl3. lots of talking and reading and sneaking around stealing photo frame as recommended by u all....

the sneaking animation is interestingly funny...and i regretted killing the drunken legionaires tongue.gif

To cook with the pot, you need an open camp fire, then you drag the pot over the camp fire to set it up.

Sadly you cannot remove it after cooking or I never found the way to do so.

yeah...sadly...discover this method last night thru google...

but someone did mentioned that it can be 'removed' if combine it to a campfire located somewhere outside the town...
not sure where it is though...

atm, i find the map not so user-friendly...there is no description where is where...

managed to spent abt an hour last night...was at the wizard room, saw a cooking pot and tried to take it since i saw nobody around...i took it and suddenly the cat spoke to me shocking.gif rclxub.gif

i was like wtf a bit.... doh.gif

next time, i'll sneak just to make sure i'm not being watch by anyone...

btw, is there day & night in this game? i wanna break-into someone house at night and take the pyramid lying openly on the floor..

You set your own marker using the map, that is the intention.

There is no day and night cycle in the game because Larian don't want it to be just a visual difference, they want to make the NPCs behave differently and even close their shop at night but the change is too big to be put into the game as they need to make housings available to all NPCs and make an activity schedule as well.

actually the map does have description for places...u jus have to zoom in to a certain level and point to the golden diamond icon...

hmm...im not sure on the day/night complexity...as far as i can c games in NDS can do it...so... unsure.gif
