seek for some assistant please, had my EB on March..were having AC with only air blowing @ R and experience uncertain in temp while driving. ( cool air and all of the sudden only air breeze and back to cool air even having the temp knob at 50%) took to SC, replace the Thermo Amp. in which they claim to be the problem. was ok for few days but im experiencing 10 ~ 15 sec. delay in time of only air blowing then gradually come cool air.
has anyone experience these delay kicking sound whenever you on the AC, some sort of delay start of the compressor. is this normal or is the temp. sensor probe is malfunction |

QUOTE(klate @ Aug 1 2012, 03:30 PM) my early finding was at home noticing spots oil smear at floor..then its like seeing wet dust start accumulating under the hood..later on it was like some sort oil burning smell after back from a long drive. had SC tech to take a peep under the hood and was confirmed an oil leak |

QUOTE(klate @ Aug 3 2012, 10:02 AM) no mentioned bro, they did swap to another Thermo Amp that time, and were ok on that few days..and as i mentioned earlier that i am experiencing some sort of 10 sec. in delay kick ..in which i believe might be the compressor were starving for more power in order to engage in or the design were such. the stinky burning metal smell still exist, so what i did was to leave the AC run for few moment & a hang on car perfume to do the job before i take the helm seat. by then this only takes place on the early start. i guess we got to life with this for now |

Added on August 5, 2012, 10:23 pm ntc2000, as you were saying; most of the EB got this problem... mine also have, but we all wrap the aircond piping with aircond form... outcome not bad... bro, im guessing you are referring to that soft black cylindrical insulation foam that they wrap along the AC pipe. you have done that, appreciate with some photos attach This post has been edited by nacier5: Aug 9 2012, 11:51 AM |

QUOTE(Pin Jun @ Sep 5 2012, 09:44 PM) Dear all sifu, Pin Jun,It seems that the grounding has yielded quite a number of benefits. Anyone know of any shops that can perform grounding for ppl who can't do DIY like me? Please do recommend... Also, did anyone experience some of the problems below on their Exora Bold: 1) After car wash, the disc break seems to lock up and the next morning when you first move your car, there is a loud noise on your wheel. It only happens during initial move. After that is ok. 2) Early in the morning when the engine and vehicle is still cold, there is a weird sound coming from the back suspension i suspect, when you are taking 90deg corner (although at a very low speed. E.g. coming out from your house compound) 3) Front fog lamp broken due to overheated (actually I am not sure if it was due to overheated or got hit by a stone) - but why would you want to install a glass fog lamp at those location. Should have use plastic instead. 4) Wiper seems to stuck when you reduce the wiper speed FYI my EB is about 1 month old and have traveled about 4000km. 1) yup...experience the same, a short spin after washing will help to make dry the break shoes.. 2) had the sound on my ride as well but not sure if its coming from the back suspension, mine was like a knocking sound while turning up hill junctions, probably the absorbers 3) it is obviously being hit by chip stone or so..my fog lamp is intact but my hood had paint chipped off few spots..my advice is to keep distance whenever heavy vehicle in front of you..had my bumper lower left hand side dent too, simply because of a flung object seams to be a piece rubber of a rebuild truck tire. 4) wiper stuck, is a motion freeze for a second then back to normal? i think Grounding Cable may overcome this issue This post has been edited by nacier5: Sep 6 2012, 05:13 PM |

QUOTE(Pin Jun @ Sep 9 2012, 08:42 PM) On point no. 4, mine is not freeze for only a second. It freeze permanently half way if i do nothing. Usually i need to on and off the wiper to fully decline the wiper. hi Pin Jun,hv the problem refer to SC..might be relay malfunction This post has been edited by nacier5: Sep 10 2012, 09:34 AM |

QUOTE(rapidbumi @ Sep 14 2012, 10:35 AM) well.. if they already snap the picture before you exit their highway, it would be no problem you proceed to replace the bumper first then attach the bill for claim... but I'm worked with different highway as such the process might be different... someone from their office should call you within 24hrs or maybe you can call them first to reconfirm their procedure for claim. If you manage to talk to the respective person, be firm to get an answer... thanks for the advise.. |
