Got a call from my SA today. He said that I can collect my car this coming Friday. So happy and can't wait to hop in and start driving..

It really surprise me for the car to arrive in just 2 weeks time since ppl are saying the EB premium is in hot demand.

Any good suggestion for car detailing and tinted packages?

I also notice the wind sound coming from the driver side when exceed 100km/h. Anyone kind to share is there any permanent solution for this? Is annoying to hear wind sound on a new car.. :-)

It does look great with the visor on. But if it can solve the unnecesary wind noise issue, then i might consider to take it off. But if the culpirit is really the visor, why it only happen on the driver side and not the passenger side?

Anyone out there has removed the visor and found it to be effective in overcoming the wind noise on the dirver side?

Mine seems ok. It will rev up slightly when the engine first started, then rev down after 3 - 4 sec. I think this is normal for any car.

Do you mean yours will rev up and down repeatedly without pressing your fuel pedal?

Dear all exora bold sifu's,

I did not start my new exora bold premium for one day yesterday. Early this morning, when I first start, there is a loud cracking sound after the engine cracking. It does not happen again in subsequent start. Any idea what is the problem?

Also, i notice that after one week of driving, the seats tend to produce some squeeking sound when i go thru bumps and uneven road surface. How can I solve this?

1) So did you replace the one way valve for free under waranty as well? Do i need to replace the valve immediately? So far after ther first cracking sound, i did not notice any recurrence.

2) Did you replaced the entire driver seat? Mind to share which SC did you go to?

It seems that the grounding has yielded quite a number of benefits. Anyone know of any shops that can perform grounding for ppl who can't do DIY like me? Please do recommend...

Also, did anyone experience some of the problems below on their Exora Bold:
1) After car wash, the disc break seems to lock up and the next morning when you first move your car, there is a loud noise on your wheel. It only happens during initial move. After that is ok.
2) Early in the morning when the engine and vehicle is still cold, there is a weird sound coming from the back suspension i suspect, when you are taking 90deg corner (although at a very low speed. E.g. coming out from your house compound)
3) Front fog lamp broken due to overheated (actually I am not sure if it was due to overheated or got hit by a stone) - but why would you want to install a glass fog lamp at those location. Should have use plastic instead.
4) Wiper seems to stuck when you reduce the wiper speed

FYI my EB is about 1 month old and have traveled about 4000km.

Added on September 5, 2012, 9:46 pmI have done sierra glow glass coating on my EB in Subang. It cost me RM950 for the job.

Since the coating is only 1 week old, so it is still too early to comment on the quality, durability, etc...

will share more as time progresses

Not really the case. I drove high way at 120km/hr and still get about 250km/RM50.

You can only get 300km/RM50 if you drive on highway with 90-100km/hr

On point no. 4, mine is not freeze for only a second. It freeze permanently half way if i do nothing. Usually i need to on and off the wiper to fully decline the wiper.

I have yet to refer this to any SC. Currently compiling all the issue and will table to them during my next service... another 2k more to go before my next service..

I notice the following on my EB:

1) When i turn off our enginer and pull out the key, the indication on the front panel will show the driver seat door is open eventhough the door has yet to be opened.

2) The reverse camera is very blur at night at poorly lit area to the extend that it is quite useless as i just cannot trust what i see in the camera

Anyone experience the same thing? is this normal or it just happen on my EB?

Mine the same too. Usually after a long ride, the engine fan will not run after turning off the engine. But after a slow and short drive, the fan will on when the engine is off.

My guess is that during the long ride, the wind and air circulation outside the radiator and engine is alot hence cooling it down continuously. While in a short and slow ride, the wind is not strong enuff and hence the fan will on to further cool down the engine when the we turn off the engine.

Not sure if this theory is correct though.. :-)
