My EBP is 50 days old, so far the car runs wells except for few unresolved problems. 1.Top half of the driver seat rocking. Local proton SC says " the car come like that". They try to tighten nuts at the bottom of the seat. But problem still exists 2. " errrrrrrrgh " sound when hit pot holes. First service, SC loosened some screws and tightned at the undercarriage. But the problem still exists. Strangely this sound comes out only at few pot holes and not all pot holes and speedbreakers. I did not have much problem with choosing the oil for my 1st service. The SC had both 30 -10W, 40-10W. I went for 30-10W semi synthetic. To those who are planning to buy EB, you need to have some tolerance for minor problems. Good things about EBP is speed and space

My EB 1.6 CVT Premium is two months old. As I was settling down from all the earlier minor hiccups of EB, I received a letter from EON last week, asking me to go and check " variable valve timing " ( VVT ) at the nearest SC . I am not sure how serious is this problem. Has anyone else here received this letter?. Can the Sifus give some info on this VVT? For those long waiting new EB owners, I had to wait patiently for more than two months. I found the system works like some Govt offices. My SA pushes to his local manager, the manager could not do much. Call I care , standard replies. Latter I came to know there are red tapes inside as well. After I loose my patience, the car arrived within 1 week. I hope I can keep my EBP for atleast next 5 years without any major problems. This post has been edited by Longy: Jun 30 2012, 10:58 AM

QUOTE(neo1point3 @ Jul 5 2012, 10:28 PM) Can you please upload the letter, i dont get from them Sorry, the letter was taken by SC when my sister send the car for check. They told my sister, this is something to do with upgrading. She saw them connecting to the computer and the check was completed within 1 hr. I don't think there was any oil leak before. Added on July 6, 2012, 2:39 pmI feel they have reduced the length of sitting part of the seat to get more leg room space. This may be the reason why some feel that the size of the seat is small.
