For whatever reason i had no idea. I would get better grade oil for my EB if possible, but that is what they giving out now.

to add into that, on my 1000km and 5000km service, i saw on my bill that they pour "X-1R" engine treatment. Now the question is, did the manual said that the CFE engine Bold/Preve need to put the X-1R oil engine treatment?

It cost me RM45-50 bucks for that treatment and i didn't asked for the treatment. Is it necessary?

Did you guys experience where the SC forget to change the air filter even though they had charge to your bill?

or

SC never change your air filter at all even though after 10k km service?

or

SC said that air filter had ran out of stock but they didn't even bother to tell you?

Yeah I was wondering how they clean the air filter? its not like those k&n filter which is wash able.

what about the spark plugs?

the k&n can spoilt the engine component?

wat bout spark plugs? I know the using ngk iradium. wat bout others iradium?

anyway its best to change airfilter everytime go service I suppose. but I got a tip frm one of the perfomance shop at sunway UTR is producing metal flow type dropin filter for bold n preve.

I know they r using ngk iradium type cause someone help me took it out and have a look. its a long headed and thin type of plugs which not easy to find outside. Please take a look pic below (this is for graphical purposes, not the bold cfe version)



and btw, I changed to torco oil 10w40 wit mpz friction reducer. I can say its soooo much smoother then syntium 800.

Was doing some cross ref on the plug but couldn't get it for Denso or BOSCH

Somehow the bold cfe engine is not properly ground for whatever reason. By putting them it will smooth out your ride (wont increase hp/torque). Be aware that it may void warranty for your engine so it is your choice.

anyone with sluggish pickup or response, I got mine reflash ecu 9/12 (lastest), prior was 9/11.

You know the Exora Bold Cfe air filter is very unique designed but i'll text him anyway to see.

Original there is air filter, we are talking about performance air-filter
