With the standard CFE unit that I have, no need to get additonal power...I find that not many can catch up, even on top of east west highway if I really need to rush...
All in all...this is the best RM80k my wife and I had spent for a car...

if based on procare package 1st time change of Air Filter (PW810704) on 40k then every 20k...

price RM16.71

but for preve every 50k - Air Filter (PW9100014) - RM35.51...

not sure why got different interval and different Air Filter type for both same CFE engine...

i also abit confuse comparing service schedule Exora CFE and Preve CFE... rclxub.gif there is different interval for same item i.e. Radiator Coolant, FEAD belt... or i read wrongly... sweat.gif

For those who are having the problem of bad smell fr the a/c upon the the first gush of air when switching on the a/c, well here is its simple solution of which I googled. Start engine , switch on fan speed to max. Switch the a/c switch and recirculating air to OFF. Let air blow for 15 minutes. It works on my 3 mth old exora CFE and maybe I should share this learning here. The smell is from mildew and mould build up. On why it happen so quickly on my car, I can only deduce from the fact that my car is used 95% of the time for very short trips. Also check the a/cond filter . Someone posted on youtube on how to do this, check it out. If your a/c comes with heater , like the Citra, switching to heater mode solves the problem as the mould get burnt and blown out.

Manual version only with old CPS engine, no CFE engine & no CVT gearbox.
Only Exora Bold Premium & Prime version with CFE engine & CVT gearbox.

Went to Proton Edar Setapak yesterday to have a look at the MPV. They said latest memo from HQ waiting time should be longest 1 month. But no more discount since DRB took over.

From my experience before Raya, smaller dealers can give cars faster..I got mine in 3 days only whereby even my friends who are EON managers want booking first and cannot commit when they can deliver..

If want discount try here: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1977798&hl=

But not fast delivery but they are main distributor.

If want fast delivery with small discount call Proton Edar Shah Alam HQ call the SA.

If want loan with 2.6+% rate call Ikhwan(0323013205) from Al-Rajhi Bank Ampang. I asked 3 bank loan but final choose them coz fast process & low rate. thumbup.gif
