Just get my exora last Friday...now only at 250km run. Just want to ask few Q;
1. What is the stock brand tyre provided.(my exora GT radial Champro- never heard this brand before)
2. The car only start to move from idle >1.5k RPM is this normal (previous car is myvi).

Overall this few days of short drive feels comfortable and smooth only that its and hassle to change tyre because on second day my front driver side tyre puncture by 10mm screw...luckily the tyre can be repair.

Got my EB in Aug, everything seems fine except driver seat rocking feel and rattling noise from dashboard and some weird noise from airbag (i guess).

Already reported seat problem during 1k service at SC Sri Petaling, still waiting for their reply.

The most irritating part is the rattling noise from dashboard and airbag, any brota have this problem and know what can I do to eliminate the noise.

1. Yes stock tyre is champiro GT radial, indonesian brand.
2. Yes normal because of cvt transmission rubber band effect.

If tyre punctured because of screw, u dont need to change new tyre, just 'tampal' the hole. All tyre shops can do that. Cost rm5 only. But To change tyre because of champiro brand is a must if u have budget, spent extra for safety as champiro gt radial is not that good compare to other brand.

yeah my friend also got his EB last friday and when i check the tyres i was like... wtf... champro?

did pop up the hood and looking at the engine bay there are still huge space lol...

btw... EB what turbo they are using arr...???

Googling around regarding the rattling sound at EB, and found this thread

Received my EB at August 31st
From beginning, Experienced the 'infamous' rattling or grrr sound if the car 'kena' potholes, so far i never encounter oil leak or may be i did not notice it before i read this thread pages by pages.
May be should do the checking after this

Received it Driver seat noisy/made sound seem like old chair , creaking when you sit on it while driving.
Made a complaint with SC when do 1K service, they said warranty person in charge will call me, but until today no follow up from them
Steering bit lean to the right (not properly center), after 1K service they did balancing and alignment, now back to normal

a week ago, a Lorry reverse and hit my car, left passenger door and rear left fender rosak , made police report etc etc, ptoton insurance claim adjuster helped me, and he said insurance company will replace it, instead of ketuk only.
Thanks to him (Proton SC guy) for doing that

Will send the car soon.



Rattling sound is annoying, but it seldom happened unless you hit the potholes.
grrr sound seem like something loose, plastic . happened but minimun, seem like this chronic Proton issues.

for the drrr drrr sound after pothole or coming down on road bumper try replacing this part PW828545 strut mount assy
