i feel for old hep. born ugly, despised, got married to aphrodite but she cheats on him with ares.

there's a allusion here about the low rank of shopkeepers and traders and artisans (hep was after all a divine blacksmith) compared to the more martial roles of the other gods.

i named my rugby ball after hep.

but he did get to have revenge. on one occasion, hep and another god (maybe hercules) slapped the shit out of ares. dunno what's up win aphrodite.

for a god of war, ares doesnt win all his battles. kind of like war, you win some you lose some.
