Imagine what will happen if it was the Titans who won instead of Zeus & co. and how can Zeus's father lose to Zeus? and if Zeus's father is one of the Titans, does it mean that the other Titans were Zeus & Co. uncle and aunt?

QUOTE(Magick Cauldron @ Jun 4 2012, 02:19 PM) Mainly it was because Cronos was swallowing every child born by Rhea... I like Norse myth too but never undertook the task of reading... i like how in the movie they undermined Cronos and Cyclops. Everytime I watch a greek movie and they show both of them, I'll shout NERF'ED! and Hercules is buffed like crap. I like Hermes. carefree and the only one without much war.

QUOTE(Magick Cauldron @ Jun 4 2012, 02:34 PM) lol... Hercules does look overpowered... I love Hermessssssss, just very sneaky.. There was this story about Hermes, not sure if it is a story mentioned in reliable sources or not.. There was a poor lumberer resting near a river. When he wanted to wash his axe (or something else, I forgot), he dropped his axe into the river, and couldn't get it back. As Hermes was watching, he went to the lumberer, and presented a golden axe to him. Hermes asked if the golden axe was the axe that he lost, but the lumberer answered no. Then Hermes presented another axe, a silver one, and asked if it was the lumberer's axe. To this, the lumberer answered no again. Then Hermes showed the lumberer his real axe, and the lumberer said that this was the axe that he lost. For the lumberer's honesty, Hermes gave the lumberer his axe back, and also the golden axe. i think that's true. i've read something similar. btw, is the nemean cestus real? I cant find real history of it, besides the nemean lion.

QUOTE(achik1990 @ Jun 4 2012, 03:00 PM) what goes around comes around i guess... Cronus overthrew Uranus with the help of Gaia.. Then Zeus overthrew Cronus and imprisoned the titans into the pit of Tartarus. Funny thing is Cronus was the youngest of Titans same as Zeus which is the youngest of the Olympians ... Both overthrew their father ... LOL The irony .. But I'm more interested with Titans such as Hyperion, Atlas, Prometheus, Oceanus, Tethys, Rhea and etc ... By the way Rhea is zeus's mother...hades and poseidon too family arguement la.
