Well imo the localisation plus voice acting for this game is one of the best among Nintendo games so far. I actually spent more time playing it in English voices rather than the original Japanese, haha. The voices for most of the female characters are much more tolerable in English (I will probably get hated for this but I'm not a fan of generic moe voices, I like my girls to be anything but stereotypically whiny). But yet again, I suppose many people will like the original voices due to the popularity of the seiyuus. 

Well, the english subtitles don't really watch with japanese voice over. The subs is for the english version. I like the japanese version more because of how they address people, like Lissa addressing Chrom as big bro, rather than the english version just Chrom. Sumia address him as Chrom-sama and others. It's a little, well I guess polite? Asian values ftw 

Apart from that, it's like it's a full voice over, just some  taglines, fmv aren't that common too

nope... the amount of voice in japanese is the same as english iinm...
btw, managed to rush complete this game in hard mode just now... before my etrian odyssey 4 arrived

if bought the dlc, will it tied to the 3ds or the game cart? need to do data migration of using different 3ds?

Ermm... noob here. In the past it was best to promote at 20 right, but now gamefaqs says otherwise?

because there's exist in mechanism called 'internal level', where the later you promote, the lower the exp you will get.
and yes, it is better imo to get certain skills fast rather than wait for a while just to get the extra stats.
since promoted class gets its 2nd skills on level 15 & unpromoted on level 10, using seal around that level is suggested if you wanted to get other line class skills fast. besides, dun forget every char/class have capped maximum stats, so if your rng is good, you may gain more stats every level up, thus reaching the capped amount fast = no need to wait more level to promote right?
NOTE:only true for second seal usage

The final 2 paid DLC maps are out! The Future Past 3, and Apotheosis (aka The Strongest Ones Name in Japan).

Also, did you know Awakening was going almost going to be the last Fire Emblem game of the series?
Due to the progressive drop of sales of FE games, it was said that if Awakening didn't sell more than 250,000 copies, the series would be gone for good. 

Thankfully it never happen, and Awakening is very close to being the first FE game to hit 1 million in sales.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of Fire Emblem. Hearing this news made me worried on how the series was almost going to be discontinued.

Hopefully with the success of the series we can get a new Advance Wars!!
