lol G ade get ics 3weeks back 
plug in cable and update it through kies or if you know how use odin.. dl the ics firmware from sammobile.com and flash it via odin <-- only takes 4-5mins 

i feel like 4.0.3 is abit lagger den 2.3.6 ? and slightly delay lol

not syiok la this ICS update...
RAM now less than before..
and forever 500+mb

like this one? why after update the ram cut short like 300mb?

Eh u guys that complained about the ICS and Ram...is it G or Non-G S2?

My current total RAM is 831MB. Originally was 600+ MB after ICS update but after switching back to TouchWiz launcher, my RAM is back to 831MB in total, so the culprit of the memory hogging in my phone was the Go Launcher I've been using for quite sometimes.

I have been. Generally is ok. But it has it occassional sluggishness in opening some apps. Not sure because of what. Will try to restart and see if any difference.

Im on TouchWiz UX, ported from Galaxy SIII.. smooth one oh..
If u scroll few pages back i did provide the link for the ported launcher..

And.. dont even bother about RAM..
ANDROID is different from Windows.. it will fill the gaps on RAM to make the system faster.. u want faster system, or more RAm but underutilised?

Don't look at the RAM. Just use your phone as usual. You will feel much happier. 

so how does it feel to have more RAM?

ha ha ha.. apparently nothing comes out of it..
cause Android uses all the RAM to stabilize the OS
if ur OS is not using as much RAM as it should then u should be worry instead..
something else is not running there hehehe~

be happy, and use it jolly.. dont overthink too much 

Anyone tried ICS on G version? I'm using custom firmware,kernel and rooted, can I update directly via Kies? I try Software Update, after download 11.23mb file, phone reboot and say Failed to update .

just use it without screen protector 

explain more, how blink where blink etc, this is not normal behavior, either rogue app, kernels or hardware prob
wakelock related to any audio thingies, its a new measurement in ics, gb cant measure, its related to anything that has sound. also playing music while screen off also consider as a wakelock

Go Setting > Sound > System > Untick Touch sounds and Screen lock sound..
