no worries even with so call hardware limitations but xda developers will find a way to get s2 some if not all function in jb,hopefully lah..since to me s3 still aint better than s2 in functionlity ...but the bigger point is s3 is still to pricey for me to buy..haha

guys really...really need you hel here.my computer cant seem to detect my s2 even though the usb storage a;ready turn on,the orange android guy but my computer cant seem to detect the phone.the usb working since the phone is connected.even using other hp no use,my computer cant detect the phone even though mas storage in those phone are active and the phone recharges using the usb....please help!!!!

i meant using my sister hp also cant,her hp also chargers and dont enter mass storage mode when using the usb.i dont think the usb is broken since both the phone charges and the indication that mass storage activate are there only when i go to "my computer" our device arent shown.we are using the same usb since she lost hers.her hp also have the same usb port as the my s2

also i'm on paranoid 4.1 and using non-g

yup..even the newest one,and further ore even kies cant detect my phone

but kies comes with the samsung driver right?so i install it to have my s2 be reconized again in my computer but again no effect.hmm..do we need to buy the original usb by samsung or can use any usb tha have the same usb port to usewith s2?since maybe..maybe the usb is faulty

did you root your phone?need to calibrate after rooting a new rom

there is an app at google playor just google it..there is two method one without the app and second with the app
witout app you just charge the phone until full or 100% and take out the battery,wait for at least 15-20min,and put it back on again,check the battery if it drop if its drop..charge again until 100% and do it until yoour battery when you put it in back is 100%-98% or dont have much power drop.that one i use..but better you google it.
