QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Jun 4 2012, 02:05 AM) So many games were "missing" from google play. I googled it and saw this in xda:1) QUOTE How did you get that Nova 3 on S3? because it wont show up in Play store from my S3.. QUOTE ROOT 2) QUOTE MC3. Nova3, Dungeon hunter, Asphalt etc etc etc.. They arent searchable from play store.. It just wont show up.. 3) QUOTE Indeed they don't. If you got a S2 they will show up. All you have to do is transfer the .apk to the S3 and install it. If you bought, it it will pass the license test und run as smooth as you have never seen them before. 4) QUOTE What I did to get NOVA 3 and MC3 on it without a PC: --On my previous phone (Galaxy S II) 1) Purchase and install the game(s) from the Play Store (did not start them up) 2) Use Astro File Manager (free, needs root), Backup Apps, tick any you want to transfer 3) Opened Dropbox, Upload, internal sd -> backups -> apps -> upload the APKs --On the Galaxy S III 4) Open Dropbox 5) Go to wherever you put the APKs, press the arrow on the right of each for more options, press the three dots, Export. Remember where you've chosen to export them. 6) Open My Files app, go to where you exported the APKs, select each and install! DONE. Only annoying thing is I keep accidentally pressing the menu button with the edge of my palm when playing games in landscape on the GSIII...bit annoying. QUOTE(garagesell @ Jun 4 2012, 03:15 AM) zenetic.. seem like u are expert here You can restrict certain permissions from apps such as 3G(only use Wifi), block apps from collecting Phone ID,access call logs/sms ,etc only through certain programs like LBE Privacy Guard or Avast Anti Virus which require root for such featuresfew question: what is root? why root? how to root? which root is the best? please explain. i used android since a year ago but keep on seeing people root here and there. what is the point ya? Other features of root is to use programmes such as Voltage smth or SetCPU which can cap your phone processor to like 0.8GHz to save battery, etc. Programs such as System Tuner enables you to take full control of your phone. You can freeze useless system apps that might contribute to ram usage such as accuweather Root is also required for installing custom firmwares like CM9,etc This post has been edited by -kytz-: Jun 4 2012, 03:23 AM |
