depends on you and your 'lifestyle'...

you need to compare:
buy phone outright (about rm2199) + voice plan for 12/ 18/ 24 months (depending on the contract you will be comparing with)
VS
buy phone with plan + plan cost over your contract period

the above should already give you an indication whether which one is more worth it.

then... need to see:
* how much data you use -- else cheapest data plan can be UMobile's rm28/ month plan (but good only in Klang Valley)
* call rates... how often you make voice calls... if a lot, then you need to dig deep and compare voice usage so that the plan you get (or sign up separately) isn't going to cost you a bomb!

then the next question is: "do you need the mobile internet access?" If you do not receive important email on the go and solely rely on wifi at home/office for internet access, then the answer is NO - dun sign contract. Coz all the SIII contract will bundle a data plan. In fact, for DiGi, the SmartPlan is a data plan purely. You still need to pay for call/sms separately. So if you are not using the mobile internet, it is a total waste of money.

But i strongly suggest you to sign up for a plan with basic data like the Maxis Internet basic RM50 package with a 250MB. Without data plan, you will get a big shock when you receive the bill after someone accidentally turn on the mobile internet on your SIII. This basic data plan can be sign up without a contract.

Plan only work if you use data and internet regularly through phone, if your work place and home have wifi, better take 1GB data plan... If you use phone as sms, phone and games better take your plan you use now...

today im search every phone booth and shop about s3 in bandar melaka , one shop at dataran pahlawan can get me s3 for rm2450 for white colour only, too high...

sesungguhnyer, ianya terlalu mahal untukku. dah ler i had to spend RM999 for the phone (yes, it's the most expensive phone i've ever owned).... think i'll wait for some cheaper ones to come out. right now, still going around with the original protector on... hahahhh....

yep just make sure no dust because it would cause bubbling. to be safe you can do it in a bathroom

yep. its a very new plan actually. i think maxis just release it last month. i jumped from digi smart plan 48 to this.

totally no regrets at all. you pay rm48 for digi, get 1gb only, and their line is lousy
