not sure if this is posted before, if you're noticing that your battery drains a little faster than it should be, most likely its kept awake by a process called "AudioOut_1". You can see this by using the app called "BetterBatteryStats".

To fix this issue, go to Settings > Sounds then uncheck "Touch Sounds" and "Screen lock sounds". After doing this, your phone should be able to go into deep sleep and you will get better battery life.
*
AudioOut_1 represents the sound played by your phone. This includes music, notifications, touch sounds and screen lock sound. Not using touch sounds and screen lock sounds of course will lower the wakelock, but even with these on, they won't prevent your phone from going into deep sleep. Like if your phone's notifcation sound takes 2secs for e.g, then the time appearing under the wakelock will be 2secs as well. If no sound is played, then wakelock = 0secs.
It's like putting your device to slient totally which will lower down the wakelock, but the battery saved is because of no sound being played by the phone.

Find it difficult to explain this, but I can say this wakelock is not the "massive battery drain" kind like other wakelocks where no activity is used the wakelock still runs biggrin.gif

I will try then... Got another screenshot...
*
Where were you today? Your phone's signal looks quite bad.
And there're some partial wakelocks (your screen's not on but your phone's awake)

if your assumption is true, then when samsung found that pebble blue is popular
then hope they will make it back instead really replacing it by metallic blue

and is confirmed got metallic blue ?
*
How do they discover that it's metallic blue? Any official words from Samsung? Becaues I saw some previous early unboxing videos showing the box of Pebble Blue states Metallic Blue

ya that was the sad case
what I hope is that call "metallic blue" colour is another colour
which will not replace current pebble blue colour
like this got more colour option to let customer to choose smile.gif
I also want to know about it
and the news that metallic blue replace pebble blue is official news made my Samsung ?
*
That's not the official news I suppose. I think Pebble Blue still stands. See what I mean here, even before SIII's release a reviewer found out this SIIIs' boxes state "Metallic Blue" and "Ceramic White". Check out post No.6 of the thread below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1660936

I think it's just the back of the phone that's being changed. Because they are having a hard time to get the metal brush effect, that's why they made a duller version

maybe its a region issue

samsung manufacture and pack the stuffs in korea. then when its shipped to the country or region, only the stickers are applied. maybe different region the name is different on the stickers, but still, not sure why this will happen

or....different name on the box, means the phone manufactured in different country. so....anybody got phone not made in korea ? tongue.gif

I believe it's in the US. See here:

and regarding the blue and white issue. i think its just naming. the colour itself doesn't change
*
But the video posted earlier on really can't see the metal brush effect cry.gif
Hopefully it's the camera that's not able to capture the effect

Can u guys check if u have this same bug as I have.. If you launch the stock internet browser the screen dims a bit, and when u try to close the browser, it becomes bright again and u can actually notice the browser become brighter for less than 1 sec before it closes. I have auto screen brightness set on, but even tick it off and off power saving still same rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif . Havent tried out the other browsers like chrome or opera

By the way I called samsung to complain about the erratic wifi issue i have, hey said it could be a software issue only, just need to birng it in for checking. As much as I want a 1-1 replacement, I also applied SP to it, so if replaced, there goes my SP  cry.gif
*
There's a brightness setting in the browser, check it smile.gif

FYI, I don't own all those games.. I merely made a list of them. Wait for some time, the developers will update their app/games to support Galaxy SIII. It's still quite a new phone smile.gif

Wifi issue since day 1 got the phone. I can connect to my router n browse the net for bout 1-2 minutes then no connection despite full bar of wifi strength on notification bar. Need to pull down menu, turn off n on again wifi to be able to surf again. That also last for 1-2 minutes before same thing happen again.

What I've tried:
- forget network n enter settings again
- hard reset phone
- take out sim card
- reset my router

Any help is greatly appreciated. Now really no time to go to service centre esp if have to leave it for few hrs or days to repair..

Go to your router's DHCP lease time setting, set it to other than "Forever". In short, don't put "Forever". Then restart your router and try again smile.gif

EDIT: I'll post this again. For those who have WiFi problems, does the above solve it?

http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/06/04/sa...its-appearance/

Today, multiple Samsung reps we reached out to have confirmed that the pebble blue version will be on track for US arrivals with no delays and that, contrary to reports circling the web this morning, no changes have been made to its appearance.

Of course, the rest of the web has some disagreement about that. For starters, official T-Mobile PR, as well as some store fronts have started using the language "metallic blue" to refer to the blue version, instead of "pebble blue", which has been the standard moniker since day one. Press releases from the other major carriers making announcements today, however, still call it "pebble blue." The above video also seems to make the device appear a bit more metallic, however, we've been told that this is due to the lighting and camera work, not due to any change in the device's design or manufacturing process. Conspiracy or coincidence? We'll leave that to you.
