i will go honest with this. picture quality is good, with good sharpness and detail, but probably will decrease as ISO is bumped up.

once u zoomed into it, u will notice there's quite a number of post processing that is going on, which sacrifices some details esp in higher iso due to noise reduction process. but very good enough for a phone.

compared side by side with s2, taking the same picture. the colours in s2 seems more washed out and apparently more noise. i'm talking about indoor and high iso shots cz outdoor and low iso, the sharpness and details are very good. ppl are more concern in low light and indoors most of the time cz there's where the difference is most apparent.

will try to find more weakness to know the potential of the camera. i myself uses a dslr, so i do know what to expect. some ppl expects their phone camera to do anything they want esp in low light and when the picture blurs, they blamed the camera suck. in fact, it's bcz of the slower shutter and shaky hands they have.

in low light, the camera will struggle to get a clear focus, which is acceptable.

overall, my verdict for the camera, it's good, but not God. just try to understand how it works to bring the best image out of it, this theory works with any other image capturing devices.

i will try post up sample pictures to explain. let me find a way to upload first.

very nice detail captured considering low light + ISO 640.

all the samples here are in high ISO low light. camera settings set auto for most of the things, including scene.

the pictures look much nicer on phone cz of the smaller screen, if i resize these pictures, it will look very nice too. but i just wanna upload the full size for those pixel peepers.

a tip for shooting, try to hold yr phone as steady as possible to avoid shake and blur, which is seen in some pictures above. better still, enable voice command and say "Cheese" or "Smile" or "Shoot" so that you wont shake yr phone when pressing shutter.

i will try to do so when i m free. weekdays working. go back home ady night time, cannot perform outdoor shots.

probably will cover this over the weekend if required. but for a phone, mostly auto will be sufficient.

other things u can tweak will be white balance, shooting scene, focus mode, and metering.

other power user features such as aperture and shutter speed cannot be control. I will try to see if anything can be squeeze out from it. but for others, it's pretty similar.

Instagram updated with fix for some crashes. tried mine and so far no crashes on previous user profile that cause crashes.

google has their own navigation app, called "Navigation"

but unfortunately, this app doesn't work in our country. so, we still need 3rd party GPS apps.

me no pro in review lar.. let ppl laugh got la, just opinions.

my s3 still pretty virgin, not many apps installed yet. most of my apps still in tab, thinking which to use in s3.

yes i understand, but it is not fair bcz the user didn't spoil it. did u made the crack? it can be considered as manufacture defect if it can crack by itself.

bcz it's hard to tell whether the crack is by the user or manufacture defect. unless the volume is high then they will consider it as an issue liao lo.

guys, to get your flipboard without downloading apk from xda.

go to apps >> more services, then it will lead u to samsung apps, then u will be able to get flipboard there. other apps like S Baro for pressure, My Story (as in GNote) and others are in there.
