QUOTE(tailtwist @ Jun 10 2012, 04:50 PM) visa?U dont need a visa to enter singapore...or u mean a working visa? There's no working visa term in Singapore....its either Employment Pass(EP)/S-Pass and etc.... i see. so is it better i apply the EP first or apply for company and then only let the company settle for me? which option is the better chance for me to get a job in singapore?

QUOTE(Jet23sky @ Jun 10 2012, 05:57 PM) Company will be the one who help you apply permit. You are unable to apply permit yourself without anyone hiring you. Get the job first, after that company will aid you in getting the permit. By the way, I end up didn't try the scanner in custom as I realize duration letting officer check is somehow similar with scanning process. And for those who want to know the spending in Singapore. I have a rough calculation, ( based on my current lifestyle ). Transport ( $4 ) Food ( Breakfast $2 max, Lunch $5, Dinner $5) Entertainment ( None, of course lo. Reach home already 8pm++ ). The above i mention is during weekdays. Weekend wise I usually go home in JB. All daily supply I will get from my home. So don't need to spend anything in SG. hi jet23sky, thanks for the reply. i read the previous post that u are a network engineer? may i know what company u work in? if u are not convenient to discuss, u can just pm me =) coz i was planning to apply the telco in singapore but not sure they want to hire fresh grad from Malaysia. is it harder for us to apply job especially in telco industry?
