Guys, just wondering, is there anyone that work in oil and gas field in singapore?

Company like Schlumberger , halliburton, baker hughes, exxon mobil, etc HR email contact?

I try to browse through their website and they have these form asking us to put our email and so and so. It would help if anyone here can provide their HR email so that i can send in my resume and CV. Thanks.

Oh ya Mackiddo, since u work in oil and gas field, i would like to seek some advices from you.

I am currently working in a manufacturing line with 2 years experience but if i decide to go for oil and gas, will my chances of getting a job low?

And from your website, should i search for a job with "fresh grad" or experience worker?

Hi everyone, if a fresh graduate got 3.5K/month in Singapore, is this considered a good salary? Could you guys please give me an approximate amount how much could I save per month? Something that looks like this will be cool,

Accommodation:
Food:
Transportation:
Utilities:
Entertainment: (I know this varies a lot, so I am just looking for an average amount)
Others:

Thanks for your inputs! Really appreciate that!

Wow, fresh grad with 3.5k salary, it is a very good pay i would say. I come out as a fresh grad and i earn around 2.5k per month only.

Accommodation: 400 - 700 (depend on where u stay, green line usually higher especially nearing the central.)
Food: around 350 to 500 depend on what u eat.
Transportation: MRT, i reload my mrt card 50SGD per month and it is enough for me, i seldom go out much too. Only nearby places.
Utilities: Try get a room that cover the utilities bills, this would save alot.
Entertainment: (I know this varies a lot, so I am just looking for an average amount) I cant advice u much as i love to be at home.

I had just renew my rental lease last Saturday and i can confirm you that you dont need to pay any agent fee. But for the stamping fee, u still need to do it again for a year.

Well, my HR told me tat getting through wife wont serve NS, so i apply for it. For me, having PR is just so that i can bought a property here for my family. Without it, i wont mind much as i do have the planning to go aus to try out.

From wat i read from other forum, my working permit might badly affect, maybe drop from EP to SP? Or in future gonna be hard to get PR.

Still, before i make a big decision to renounce my PR, i just need to know whether is there anyone else with such experience could share some of their info.

Letter from who? Title?

CMPB should send you a letter stating either you are exempted from NS duty or you should report at their centre at which date.

If they already enlist you, you can be charged for not reporting for NS even you have the intention to denouce your PR.

It is a letter from Mindef just send me a letter on this title "Notification of national service registration", so i guess it is kind of applying for NS. While from other forum some says just apply for it as u might not need to serve NS. So i am not sure bout it. It is an online registration and never stated report to any centre on which date.

Just do the registration with Mindef, CMPB will send you another letter to state if you need to serve NS. If you are 28 (guess from your nick) and then chances of you need to serve NS is low.

Don't think you can ignore the letter for long, this is SG.

If you evade the NS, you will face the enlistemnt act but I am not sure what will they do to your sponsor (your wife).

Thanks for the advice bro. Will register and see how this would end. Still, thanks alot.
