Hey guys. I am asking on the behalf of my brother who is a SPM holder with the limited information I have got..

Which job seems better for an unskilled worker like him in Singapore?
1) Restaurant - meals and accommodation are provided; $800; bonded for 2 years
2) Hotel - only accommodation is provided; 2 off days per month; working 12 hours per day; $900

Or both sucks equally? cry.gif (going through recruitment agency)

Male natives? Does that mean Chinese is excluded from the list?

My brother, who is 22 y/o and unskilled, has just entered Singapore last week.. last I heard, he hasn't obtained his working permit, though he is now working at a restaurant

If he is caught, he might be blacklisted and barred from working in Singapore, I assume?

My parents follow up with him every day. Now, he sleeps on sofa and has to walk 45 minutes to work every day

I am not sure either. He works from 3.30 pm till 5.30 am.

After settling down, I am sure he will find ways to make his life easy.
