Need to make up my mind in this 2 day time...........A lot to consider especially where i will be ending up in shipyard industry in the future. Heard that it's quite hard to jump to other industry once you enter shipyard industry.

QUOTE(ch_teo @ Jul 18 2012, 12:14 PM) anytime, i will jump into Malakoff as it is engineer development programme. Thanks for your reply. I heard from reliable source that production engineer in Jurong Shipyard need to work long hour in harsh condition which is definitely a cons.considering the rotating equipment (gas turbine) still possible go to join offshore especially in sabah field. some more it is 5 days. u will gain proper fundamental training. energy & utilities career is the future. shipyard, under hot sun and rain. also the safety?!?! but good for future FLNG should Shell or Petronas kick it off on schedule 2015/1016. just personal opinion. |

QUOTE(earl-ku @ Aug 31 2012, 02:45 AM) Guys - wanna ask a quick question, if one has an EP and wants to register for say a Signtel line, whats needed for registration? Documents wise ... if u have ep, then ur passport, ep, and employee card is required. Deposit is waived for ep.The deposit still applies if one is getting the plan + phone? How much is this? Thanks |

QUOTE(fenster_84 @ Sep 9 2012, 08:44 PM) Hi guys need some advice. u can definitely survive with ur salary. Monthly Expense depends greatly on ur life style I got an offer from an SG company. want to pay me sgd 2200 per month. Yeah I know its low. I didnt expect to be offered a position in SG as the company has Malaysian Branch. Anyway do u guys think I can survive with this amount of money? The company provides transport from MRT to workplace so I dont have to bring my car. I am a smoker so that will burn through my wallet right? I dont eat a lot. I can survive with milo and bread for breakfast, some lunch and no dinner. appreciate your advice. This post has been edited by athrun300: Sep 9 2012, 10:26 PM |
