hi guys.. need some advice.
i have been working in singapore for 2 years now, in a bank doing sales.
i have total about 7 years bank experience. im still employed in the current bank. i have recently been offered another role in another bank, i will be signing the offer letter this friday. i need some advice.
the company will be paying me 2.5k base, 500 allowance. i dont have a completed diploma. only the results transcript from my college. they requested me to fill up the employment pass form, which looks like an application for an EP and not a work permit.
my concern is, will MOM apprv without having a completed diploma? and if it is not apprv, will/can they just apply for a work permit instead?

hahaha thats woodlands.... im using tuas. and avoid peak hours. simple solution. tuas checkpoint. 5pm-7pm there is a sllight jam sometimes. so i finish work at 630. stay back have a cup of tea with colleagues till 730-8pm. and problem solved.
they dont have seperate lanes for big bikes in tuas and woodlands. but in tuas the space/queue is nothing like woodlands. there is ampel space for each bike to properly line up.. using the thumbprint/biometric lane is also a solution to this problem.

guys a quick question. i signed my new employer offer letter already. they already gave me the letter to go for medical check up etc. they applied for my pass. i checked online just now, and it says my pass is approved. so does this mean all is well and done? so technically its completed right? im just really excited for my new job. and dont wanna put my hopes so high up if its still not really time to celebrate

QUOTE(crazy25kid @ Jul 11 2012, 02:34 PM) all is well and done when u pass your medical. until then, all is not well yet. a failed medical can cause a reversal in pass approval which can cause the offer letter to be invalid. that is the worst case scenario..but nothing to worry about. hehehe thanks broooo! when i read the 2nd line, a split second thought to my self *i knew it* hahah im as healthy as an ox..i dont do drugs. so i think that should be easy peasy....
