mid-tier in SG should be paying around S$2.3k-2.4k for a fresh graduate. big 4 10-20% more whereas small firm 10-20% lesser.

yes. i'm in audit but only small firm. didnt manage to join big firm. pressured by high inflation across the country, SGD will appreciate again RM provided that RM remains stagnant.

undoubtedly, it's Employment Pass (EP). minimum salary is S$3k instead of S$2K for S-pass. there's no such thing as getting PR easily anymore unless you're in SG for quite some time and possess right qualification.

qualification aside, the industry you work in is also another important factor. i'm also on EP but earning lesser than you. typical audit line whereby majority Singaporean is not interested in especially in SME firm. if MOM doesnt relax their requirement on it, these firms will have a hard time getting people to join them since they can never pay EP salary.

Maybank MY and SG are 2 different entities even though they're under one roof. it's therefore charging cross-border transactions. S$15 if not mistaken for fund transfer from SG to MY.

SG semi-con is cloudy. SG's GDP is dragged by semi-con, projecting negative growth. having said so, those OEM like Western digital, Seagate and etc can be considered as well.

only 1st generation of PR is exempted from NS. that means you obtain PR all by yourself. son of a PR is considered 2nd generation as it's sponsored by his parents and therefore must be serve NS.

S Pass is still being issued. the concern is the quota your employers are facing. they need 5 singaporean staff to employer 1 S pass holder. having said so, audit firm is pretty easy to get Employer Pass (EP) which doesnt set quota even at S$2K range. i dont understand why your employer tends to go as low as Work permit.

changing job within a short time frame will affect your rate of success too. in addition, stringent rules this year justifies why yours is rejected.

that's not what i meant. i will be working in SG for long-term. therefore, the issues you pointed are not what i concern.

in fact, my employer intends to bond me just to get them fill in the Form 4A. so, i'm thinking to apply without going through them. is it possible?
