Wanna ask about party system experience point.
i know quest exp are given to everyone with fixed amount even if one of them not doing anything. But what about killing mobs exp?
I heard my friend said it's not share. That means if you didn't kill anything, you wont get points.
Any info/link how blizzard plan for party system?

Yesterday, was helping my friend to lvl up, i kill all the mob within his distance. But his exp bar didn't grow at all.
i think i know why but i cannot say it's totally true.
Me lvl 54 Friend lvl 25
- enter his game in normal mode as he cannot enter nightmare or hell mode - me kill all his mob, he doing nothing - me lvl 54 kill low lvl mob will only grant 1-5% exp instead of 100% exp
Added on June 1, 2012, 10:58 amsolution = get slightly higher lvl character to help him

yes, i noticed that too... i was playing my monk in normal mode when my monkey friend decided to crash my party by joining with his lvl 60 monk. I got no exp growth when he cleared all mob, but my lvl 40 friend was able to get exp when i brought him through nightmare act 3
maybe the difference between our lvl and the mob's lvl is too great?

what i heard last time is... everyone in the party gets same exp.. and the exp will depends on the highest level member in the party.. if a lv60 kill lv10 mobs maybe he get 5xp each or 0 exp even.. that's what the lowbie will get too..

Question: was your friend near you when u kill the mobs? or was he in town or sumthing...maybe the lvling system requires the whole party to be together to share exp?

Leveling Party MUST be within the area radius.
If nt wont have the exp shared.
If im not mistaken, lvl 60 char kill, lvl lowered friend will still get the actual exp as per normal, but IF the lvl lowered friend do kill providing you have Grant Exp per KIll ITEM, then you will have extra.
But if u don't kill and let your friend kill, you still will have the normal exp as though as if you kill it.
If your LVL 60 friend have exp grant items, it is not shared among all. Only to the killer.
This is based on my experience helping my friends.
So conclusion if your helping your friend, best just tank, and let him kill if he have the extra grant items.
