Hey guys, got an S3 today from Maxis Centre in The Gardens next to Midvalley. Actually went there for the Celcom roadshow in Midvalley but changed my mind after looking at their large que ( even for the so called priveleged que ) and their plan not worth it to me.

Just wanna advise people that Maxis deals arent exactly like what their website posted. But only rm50 more than listed at the website. Not really a big deal to me tho. What you should be more prepared is to spend a lot of time waiting. The que wasnt so long, think maybe cause not a lot of people know about it, but their process is very slow and they have limited number of units per day. Got in que at about 11am. I got to order mine at about 12 mid day and they ask me to 'go jalan2' for 2 hours until my turn to process the phone and payment. I had the time to go to Low Yat Plaza and back lol. They actually called me for my turn at 5pm. Then got the phone and finish processing at about 5.30pm.

Just thought u guys should know and plan ahead. Cause I wasnt sleeping the night before. It was the anticipation I guess lol. All in all I'm very happy that I managed to get one . No problem with it so far. Btw, Maxis doesnt give any free gift. Just the phone and whatever in the box. No screen protector, no casing whatsoever. Aight, now I'm off to order those from seller here haha.

With contract. Only 12 months tho. I'll try upload the brochure here in a few minute.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but have anyone try changing the shortcut on lock screen? I cant find where to change it.... I think most of the default shortcut are useless lol.
