You can paid by CC with no charges. Maxis even accept payment by installment with 0% interest using selected Credit card. One of them is Citibank.

try use wifi transfer

download air droid from store

settings > wifi > advanced > check see whether wifi during sleep is set to always, and your frequency band, auto is preferred
possible the figures will be a bit off between your phone and maxis. but the difference won't be huge

to be safe just set the limit 2 or 3 days before your billing date
i used to set it to auto. but i find the sensor and dimming steps a bit too sensitive. so i use manual now, set it to 50% permanent
