if i had to choose a naga, it will be the hex cos got place to rest my thumb on the side there without pressing any buttons tongue.gif
its priceless biggrin.gif
cos its not out yet...zzz.
*
Naga/Naga Epic for me, cause the mechanical buttons on Hex are simply too sensitive, that i cannot rest my thumb on the thumbrest without accidentally pressing any button. Good for fast actions, but not good for people with big thumbs like mine. The side buttons on Naga and Naga Epic are not as easily to be triggered accidentally as many thinks.. Best to try out yourself before buying.

Basically black widow is a 2KRO keyboard, means that initially the keyboard on designed to read 2 simultaneous key.

Btw, with the anti-ghosting effect, the concept is like separate the keyboard into different portion so each portion actually can read 2 keys simultaneously and make it seems like 6KRO. Try use any 7 keys combination, basically most of it won't work.

And Z,X,C together, either 1 keystroke will be ignore.
*
Only true for the BWU/BW if i'm not mistaken. The stealth edition is fully anti ghosted.

quoted from BWUS Page:
Extreme anti-ghosting for multi-key press destruction
Get the jump, crouch, shot on your enemies or the left turn, brake, nitrous on the track when the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth Edition provides complete anti-ghosting of up to 6 simultaneous key presses. With the ability to execute more than a single key command at one time, it’s an absolute competitive advantage for taking your game to the next level.

and under the tech specs, BWU = Gaming optimized key matrix for minimized ghosting, while BWUS = Extreme anti-ghosting capability..

hey guys...any review on this razer product ??
Razer Cyclosa(keyboard) + Razer Abyssus(mouse)

is a combo set..i saw some ppl selling in lowyat....thanks
*
no idea about the review/performance, but 1 thing for sure, its not brought in by the authorised distrubutor (Ban Leong), so pray hard that nothing goes wrong, and u wont need to claim the warranty. The Cyclosa + Razer Abyssus bundle is only meant for China market if i'm not mistaken.

Finally found the tiamat 7.1 at lowyat..... heart pounding when i first look at it lol, been waitin a long time for it! I even purposely went to buy a new soundcard Xonar Phoebus to match it..... but to my dissapointment why does it sounds so bad?? Compare to my old turtlebeach X41, tiamat really sounds awefully hollow n weak, yes there is surround but really lack of oomph, stereo mode kinda sounds better than 7.1 in games like diablo 3, guildwar 2, dota 2. Battlefield 3 & cod 4 ok ok only, nothing much to shout bout the surround. Seriously i hope there is some wrong configuration by myside..... any advice forummers? I already set 7.1 at the volume control and tested the surround 7.1 , it is working... but sounds very BAD n some noisy background hissing?
*
you need proper 5.1/7.1 channel source for the tiamat to shine.. i may be wrong, but games like D3/GW2/Dota2 dont support surround sounds if i'm not mistaken. tried any BD movies yet?

Orochi was quite heavy after putting 2 AA batteries, haha .. But if you not play game, i think logitech bluetooth ok for you.
*
The original Energizer = 1.5V, running 2 in series u get 3.0V.
rechargeables NiMh= 1.2V, running it in series gets you 2.4V.
see the difference?

I believe the battery level is measured by reading the battery voltage, and hence thats why it will flash red within just 1 day, cause its already low to begin with, compared to the non rechargeable batteries..

But the battery was fully charged and only last one hour is quite impossible ?
*
The rechargeable batteries are only 1.2v even if you charge them full..
I dont know exactly what is the voltage levels that the Orochi will start blinking red, but lets say its @ 2.0v, using a set of 2 rechargeables is 2.4v and using the non rechargeable will give u 3.0v.
When you use the mouse, the voltage will gradually drop, so if lets say u use rechargeable, there is only a 0.4v difference before u reach 2.0v, and mind you it doesnt mean your battery is flat. It only means the rechargeables are no longer able to give u sufficient voltage to drive the circuits inside the Orochi, as there is a minimum voltage that must be met for the electronics to work.

Also, what rechargeables are you using, and what charger?
do they come as a set? If not, is your charger able to charge the batteries full?
Some chargers are timer based, and will not be smart enough to tell if your batteries are full or not.

Guys, is the BlackWidow stealth edition really silent?
I saw some youtube videos of it and there doesn't seem to be any quieter at all...
also whats the difference from 2012 and 2013 blackwidows?
other than the matte finish...
*
it's silent if your learnt not to bottom-out when u type.. there is no distinct click when you type with the brown switches, unlike the original blackwidow's blue switch which clicks when its half pressed..

Personally to me, the clicking sound is annoying on stealth. tongue.gif

The stealth have no distinct click when u type rite? unless u bottom out the keys when u type.. that is actually sound of keycap hitting the chasis, not key clicks..
