Guys, i'm new to the Razer line. Just got myself a Razer Naga Epic, after years of using el-cheapo logitech wireless mouse ( signal loss every few seconds ) , I've noticed in wireless mode : changing DPI profiles does not take place instantly? instead, it takes roughly 5 seconds for it to change, or sometimes doesnt even work... What's happening? Same goes for the lighting in wireless mode. My dock is probably 40 cm away from the mouse.
None of this happens in wired mode though, everything is instant. But I got the mouse to be used in wireless. Is it a faulty unit?

QUOTE(syabilng @ May 27 2013, 09:06 AM) Common thing to ask about this, do you have the latest driver installed? Sorry, not familiar with Razer line yet.. But i've already updated to the latest firmware for the mouse & dock, as well as the latest Synapse software.

QUOTE(GodJesterZ @ May 27 2013, 11:12 AM) is better to install the legacy drivers which have less problems, unless you really need those extra features. How do i install legacy drivers? as far as i know, synapse downloads everything automatically

I've contacted Razer regarding the issue.
Tested it on my win 7 laptop, same problem. DPI issues.... It's like i have to set it at 3000 Dpi for a 1000 dpi 'feeling' on wired .. And it takes AGES to take effect... roughly 3 minutes before the DPI changes

QUOTE(Neo|ofGeo @ May 27 2013, 03:52 PM) using G700 here =w=)b DPI change in instance for keyboard = razer mecha is quite okay if you got it cheap for mouse? stay wired ;v inb4 you should have stayed with logitech Reason i got the naga epic was because of the side grips, fits my hand perfectly ( small long fingers ) . i've laid my eyes on the g700s for quite some time, but i thought i'd give razer a shot.. Turns out it was a bad idea . Will wait for reply from razer support team, else i'll end up getting the g700s

Turns out it's worse than i thought... Halfway through a dota game, cursor froze, not responding at all.... ended up getting raped by the enemy This will be my last time getting a Razer mouse. Period.

Is anyone of u having problems with synapse and windows 8 64bit?
I've uninstalled synapse completely and let microsoft find the driver automatically.. now my naga epic works in wireless mode flawlessly.
Only problem is i can't change lighting, or program the buttons.
And all this time i thought it was the mouse being faulty. Turns out to be the crappy synapse software. It's too bad I can't install legacy drivers on windows 8.

I've sent an email to Razer, only to be told " It is normal for wireless devices to have delays when changing settings. Please plug the mouse in wired mode for immediate effect." TWICE after my long winded explanation to them.
I literally vomit blood on the spot.
I clearly said, it took minutes when switching DPI , they told me its normal.
Can someone back up their statement?
