QUOTE(Nagashiro @ Aug 29 2012, 11:53 PM) Guys, I had a razer need to do RMA but it was bought in Singapore. Anyone in singapore or anyone know who can help claiming warranty in Singapore? Many Thanks I guess this is the problem of buying from overseas, RMA. If you don't have anyone, guess you'll have to send by postage or courier service to the Distro in SG

QUOTE(uGinn @ Sep 29 2012, 10:07 PM) Suddenly my deathadder is having issues.. the sensitivity is keep jumping up and down when I'm playing fps. . If I got to claim my warranty I have to go all the way from JB to lowyat to get this claimed. Mouse acceleration is 0 too. Alternatively, try contacting the distro and see if you post your keyboard there instead.

I wonder if anyone was planning to buy the DeathStalker keyboard. Overpriced keyboard with only 10KRO and worst of all, still using silicone membrane instead of mechanical switches.
Seriously? RM899 price tag does not even justify it's worth. The SwitchBlade UI is just a marketing gimmick. My god.

QUOTE(Everdying @ Oct 21 2012, 12:57 PM) just ignoring the over-priced and switchblade UI for now. 10kro not enough? how many fingers u got? Well, NKRO is always better than xKRO right? Regardless of the number of fingers, there is still a limitation to the number of key-presses for a keyboard that is worth almost a thousand ringgit

QUOTE(Neo|ofGeo @ Oct 22 2012, 09:34 AM) expecting some rant from you in future about finger print kekeke well right now i am considering Razer DeathAdder as well since MX518 is dying(actually it suppose to died 4 month ago but still alive until now to make it officially 4 years old mouse.) should i go for second hand or just go for first hand RM189 I believe the normal DA cost less than RM189, because Black Edition is around 180+- already

QUOTE(Neo|ofGeo @ Oct 22 2012, 09:22 PM) Since i have the chance what's the differences? i have been using MX518 way too long to get updated on gaming mouse Just cosmetics differences. Black edition has a non-glowing plastic top with rubber sides while the standard Refresh has a rubber coating with plastic sides and a glowing Razer logo. I would pick the Black Edition thou, simplicity always attracts me the most

Bought a Razer product for the first time in 2 years, Deathadder Black edition, must say I'm pretty impressed with it after a few bad experiences with the Abyssus. Something comparable to my favorite Steelseries Ikari Laser, at last.

QUOTE(5p3ak @ Nov 14 2012, 07:16 PM) Welcome to the DA family Do enjoy the silky smooth baby skin of the DA BE mouse I actually liked the grip, but it's a little too heavy for my liking, and there is another problem, I won't be able to know if I am on a high DPI or low DPI because there is no indicator if I switch on the fly. Need to get used to it.

QUOTE(GodJesterZ @ Nov 15 2012, 08:09 AM) there is green bar which shows yr dpi when u change yr dpi on the btm right of yr screen I was referring to an indicator on the mouse itself, not on the screen. Can I still switch the DPI on a computer without Synapse? Like LAN tourney etc

QUOTE(SimonsayZ @ Jan 3 2013, 07:23 PM) Yea I know its abit too much for keyboard haha. But already discount. Retail is 839.00 It is overpriced. For 2/3 of the price, you can buy a good mech keyboard.

QUOTE(SimonsayZ @ Jan 4 2013, 10:24 AM) I totally agree but I personally don't really like mech keyboards. They are good no doubt but I just hate that clack clack sound lol. Not really. Red and Brown does not have those, especially red. totally quiet. Only Blue is the noisy one, which you can find on a standard BW

QUOTE(freakenstein @ Jan 5 2013, 12:43 AM) Couldn't trust razer anymore after having issues with my headset within the first year... Razer mouse is the only good thing from them IMO. QUOTE(Emoslay @ Jan 5 2013, 09:01 AM) I'm a cherry mx blue guy.. so i like my blackwidow.. I like the blue switch because i can be sure when i push on it.. and there is that distinct TAP every time i push on it. if it ever breaks on me.. i'll either get another one or go to ducky.. You mean tactile? Hehe. Black and Brown also got ma. Only Red dont have. The switch wont break one, 50 million clicks, its the board that you have to worry, Razer BW quite well known for broken frames lol

QUOTE(shdin271 @ Jan 6 2013, 11:11 AM) mamba 4g and blackwidow user here. so far my blackwidow no prob. almost 10month. well you can say im using it roughly. smoking and always got that ashes inside my keyboard. any ways to clean it? used vacumn but kinda no effect. Remove all the keys and use a cloth to wipe? BW is mech, keys are removable.

QUOTE(shdin271 @ Jan 6 2013, 11:31 AM) im not sure, any vids? im afraid it will spoil my keyboard. lol Use a key cap puller. Does Razer provide you with one? It won't actually spoil it unless Razer made it 'unpullable' but shouldn't be an issue lar. Refer to this link : Key Cap removal

QUOTE(freakenstein @ Jan 6 2013, 05:38 PM) Yea , but mine is worst . Not as easy as pressing it to fix it. Mine is needed to adjust the volume just nice and test out if it's really 2 sided or not. If not can cause headache... Sometimes quite annoying tbh. Hehe , how's your DA ? Time to invest in other brands liao My DA is good, like it actually. So much better than Sensei RAW

QUOTE(kevin613 @ Jan 7 2013, 10:15 PM) it's silent if your learnt not to bottom-out when u type.. there is no distinct click when you type with the brown switches, unlike the original blackwidow's blue switch which clicks when its half pressed.. Not actually. Regardless of how hard you press Brown switches, you can still hear the sound and there is a tactile feel but not as hard as MX Blue. It does not produce the same 'click' sound as MX Blue because MX Blue and requires more force when pressed. Red Switches are the quietest of the lot, it does not have a tactile feedback.

QUOTE(ysc @ Jan 7 2013, 11:06 PM) Ah.... But none of the blackwidow series have Red switches right? So in terms of real-life performance, how's the brown feel VS blue? Just less force needed on the brown? also... I see that the Stealth edition has a 2013 is there a 2012 edition of the stealth? Razer only provides Brown or Blue. If you really want to try mech switches, forget Razer. Look for mech brands like Ducky, Das, Filco, Rosewill or CM Storm. You need to test the switches before making a decision. Need to feel first hand first

QUOTE(ysc @ Jan 7 2013, 11:39 PM) Hmmm... Where in Selangor/KL would I get a chance to try those like DAS, Ducky etc? I've only tried the Blackwidow Blue ones, haven't tried the brown stealth yet... I do love the blackwidow's 5 macro keys though, I play games and need'em Look for Heavyarm. He carries a few mech keyboard brands. His store is located @ SS15 Subang Jaya. Look up for his threads in GS as well
