Just cosmetics differences. Black edition has a non-glowing plastic top with rubber sides while the standard Refresh has a rubber coating with plastic sides and a glowing Razer logo.

I would pick the Black Edition thou, simplicity always attracts me the most

Bought a Razer product for the first time in 2 years, Deathadder Black edition, must say I'm pretty impressed with it after a few bad experiences with the Abyssus. Something comparable to my favorite Steelseries Ikari Laser, at last.

I actually liked the grip, but it's a little too heavy for my liking, and there is another problem, I won't be able to know if I am on a high DPI or low DPI because there is no indicator if I switch on the fly. Need to get used to it.

I was referring to an indicator on the mouse itself, not on the screen. Can I still switch the DPI on a computer without Synapse? Like LAN tourney etc

Black and Brown also got ma. Only Red dont have. The switch wont break one, 50 million clicks, its the board that you have to worry, Razer BW quite well known for broken frames lol

Remove all the keys and use a cloth to wipe? BW is mech, keys are removable.

Use a key cap puller. Does Razer provide you with one? It won't actually spoil it unless Razer made it 'unpullable' but shouldn't be an issue lar.

Regardless of how hard you press Brown switches, you can still hear the sound and there is a tactile feel but not as hard as MX Blue. It does not produce the same 'click' sound as MX Blue because MX Blue and requires more force when pressed. Red Switches are the quietest of the lot, it does not have a tactile feedback.

Razer only provides Brown or Blue. If you really want to try mech switches, forget Razer. Look for mech brands like Ducky, Das, Filco, Rosewill or CM Storm.

You need to test the switches before making a decision. Need to feel first hand first
