Taipan.  Cos  it has better sensor. But imperator has better grip

thanks for the feedback...imperator is a bit shorter compare to deathadder, while taipan is a bit thinner..
i like the adjustable thumb buttons on the imperator though...

Imperator. Much better overall. Better yet, why not read some online review. You'll get better grasp on what your looking for, according to your preference.

i did read some review, but i still cant make up my mind...
the size of taipan is holding me back...the measurements are bit smaller than my current mouse, Ms Habu...
but most reviews say the mouse is very ergonomic and very comfortable...

If you have problems choosing, Lachesis is another I would recommend. Being ambidextrous, it can never go wrong. You can either palm or claw it, and the size is quite okay. Although the sensor is quite an old one, but it's the best mouse I'd go for if you have trouble choosing.

IINM, the Lachesis Refresh and Imperator Regresh are using the same sensor, which are the Philips Twin Eye Sensor...so old or new sensor are fine with me as long as is good...
seems like it having the z-axis issue...not sure if it will effect me as much, as i do have limited space and tend to lift the mouse once in a while...

as for the new Taipan, is using the Avago 9818, so it might have the +/- accel issue...

whichever mouse i choose now, guess just depends how it fits to my hand, and pray that the sensor wont be giving me as much problem...
