Well hope you enjoy it once you get one on it. Just cleaning it once a week should do the trick. Not through, just the glossy part.

Did you restart after update? Be careful though, if you interrupt your update, some of your devices will be dead. May I know what device are you updating? A Naga mouse perhaps?

Skip the update. Do check your firmware. If it is at v0.00, then don't update. You'll have to email Razer for a manual firm update if you want, or I suggest you wait until it is fixed. Lotsa crappy update from Synapse nowadays.

i just uninstalled synapse for my bw expert. turning my non caps to caps and shift isn't working. i wonder why

The mouse is okay, nothing too good or bad. Can opt for Razer Taipan too. Packed with more features and has a better sensor than the Imperator iinm.

i'm very happy with its build n performance.. only thing unhappy if the braided wire.. always broken.. RMA once and the second mouse is having the same fate..

i havent installed synapse yet, which also means i havent used my taipan yet.
will never use it until i get standalone drivers...

Lastest issue with Synapse is trouble with update on DeathAdder BE, from what I have heard. I'm experiencing the same myself, on my Naga Epic. Prompt update but doesn't list any available update.

for deathadder BE, u can still d/l the standalone driver...maybe its not the latest compared to whatever crap is on synapse...but it'll still work fine.

Havent had this problem before. But for the fraying of the braided cable, my solution was Roccat Apuri.

deathadder or imperator? PS:money not a problem..

I would go for DA black edition. Hold the first gen of imperator before, not really liking the shape and it's kinda small for me.
