u only probably need to worry about dust if ur window always open and u hardly use ur mouse...so if u use often then not much to worry about.

I don't think so, using cyber clean on any rubberized coating will kill to surface very fast.
It will getting more and more sticky to dust and no longer feel like rubber.

ah usually i wipe it with a slightly damp cloth after using cyber clean so i havent experience the stickiness

For my case, mouse is something that you will use it frequently everyday. Instead of dust, usually it will become dirty after some time (not dusty), so I think just use the cloth will do since cyber clean more to clean the dust (I usually use for keyboard since most of the gaps cannot be reached easily.

I did try wipe my death adder with damp cloth, guess what? More stickier.
Same goes to my notebook, those rubberized material get more sticky after long period of usage.

is it expose to sunlight as well? the one that got sticky was my lachesis. i left it near the window most of the time. with the blinds open. so that one turn sticky. even my friend's mouse turn sticky

mine does apparently. so i no longer leave it exposed to sunlight. my krait surface still nice and rubbery feel except scroll wheel cacat.

if u prefer hardmat thn scarab. if softmat i suggest goliathus any size will do depending on your preference. Do no get ironclad or megasoma.
