This is one feature I like about the DA BE despite not having the backlit. But in terms of texture, I like the latest Imperator's texture and mat.

By the way, my old DA (the early edition with blue backlit) is starting to have some issues. The scroll is not working. When you slide it, it's too smooth (does not have the friction or clicking feel, or whatever you call it). Since the warranty has expired, do you guys think I should dismantle the mouse and take a look?

I wish I could but I just spent some cash on the new BW Ultimate 2013 and Blackshark.

too smooth that i have to set my DPI at 800 only n it feels so heavy compare with my imperator 4G

Saving up for a Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth 2013 keyboard. 

So happy with my Razer gear, most especially my Orochi mouse.  It's been with me since December 2010 and no issues from day 1.  Although I wish it would break already so I could buy the Orochi Blade edition to match the green LEDs of the Ultimate Stealth 2013 I plan to buy.  You can see my other Razer gear on my sig below.

(Or probably I'll just give my current Orochi to one of my cousins.)

My brother (who's in China currently) had an Imperator, which unfortunately had its cable severed by one of his cats.  He also has a Onza.

My other brother (who's in the Philippines) has a Mamba (which I bought together with my Orochi back in 2010), Goliathus Speed and a Tiamat 7.1.

My cousin has a Blackwidow Ultimate 2013, Mamba 2012, an Onza Tourney edition and a Goliathus Speed.

Now Razer has to release some Evil Geniuses gear and I'm gonna be a very happy Razer cultist.

Some people like it small. Claw grip vs palm grip. ^^

For me, the Orochi is just right.  I use a claw grip, thus any mouse above 4 inches in length, I have difficulty using.

I've tried using the Mamba, Imperator and Deathadder, and these mice are just too big for my hand's claw grip.

I liked the Razer Salmosa Asian Edition, only a hair below 96 millimeters in length.  Unfortunately, no thumb buttons.

Bluetooth performance of Orochi is really not so good.  The 8 millisecond lag is just too evident when I play games. 

So I have mine connected via USB, but I have 2 empty AA batteries in it.  Without the batteries, the Orochi is just too light.

I'm likewise thinking about getting the Oroboros, but I need to get a hold of test unit first, which is close to impossible.

Yep, 8 milliseconds may not be much, but I tried playing SC2 on Bluetooth mode once, it felt like eternity.

hi all, want to ask, i have an ONZA TE and the analog stick signal cannot register to the center as i check in the controller properties(the stick is in center position but the signal not)
can i send this to repair? the warranty should be over iinm

Haha yeah kinda small for me also. The design is a bit ugly, but when you light it up its AWESOMEEEE
