QUOTE(tennytyy @ Mar 4 2013, 12:55 PM) Is the Orochi comfortable enough for gaming? Don't you feel it is a bit small? For me, the Orochi is just right. I use a claw grip, thus any mouse above 4 inches in length, I have difficulty using. I've tried using the Mamba, Imperator and Deathadder, and these mice are just too big for my hand's claw grip. I liked the Razer Salmosa Asian Edition, only a hair below 96 millimeters in length. Unfortunately, no thumb buttons. Edit: 96 centimeters?! Holy crap! QUOTE(syabilng @ Mar 4 2013, 01:30 PM) Some people like it small. Claw grip vs palm grip. ^^ Haha, that's right. For me, claw grip is tiring.

I try to look for a wireless gaming mouse at about rm2xx price range(prefer Razer brand), only Orochi falls within my budget, sad that it is so small. Mamba and Oroboros is big enough for palm grip, but both of them cost more than rm4xx.

The 8 millisecond lag is just too evident when I play games. So I have mine connected via USB, but I have 2 empty AA batteries in it. Without the batteries, the Orochi is just too light. I'm likewise thinking about getting the Oroboros, but I need to get a hold of test unit first, which is close to impossible.

And the Oroboros is really catching my eyes. But as you said, there is no where has demo unit for us to have our hands on it.

just bought the Orbweaver last weekend after owning a Nostromo for 2 months. Spur of the moment purchase.
here's my thoughts...
1. the mechanical keys are better than nostromo but in itself not worth the higher price. 2. however, the 8 way keypad is really much better on the orbweaver. the clicks have very very good feedback. I use it for Dota 2 and programmed the keypad to "attack" and "hold". Of course the thumb button and spacebar have also nicer clicks than nostromo. 3. no clickwheel but more buttons. Well, i dont use the clickwheel so added buttons are better for me. 4. adjustable palmrest is nice. I like a flatter profile than nostromo, so now its more comfy. But note that because its adjustable, expect a little give while playing.. not as solid stiff as nostromo. Adjustable keypad also allows me to use the shortest setting, so i can have all of my thumb over the forward key of the keypad. i find it gives better control of the keypad.
So.. all in all.. wont make me a better gamer, but we need the best right?
that said i have a 2 month old Nostromo im willing to part for RM150 firm. PM me.

for you guys thinking of orochi...
let me share my thoughts.. 1. it cuts off after 2 mins and when while reconnects it will act erratically and takes up to 10 seconds. 2. its really small.
now ... i also have a 1 week old orochi up for sale. haha. need to stop these impulse buys.

You can claim. But just to double check and make sure, just ask your store where you bought it or you can directly ask Ban Leong.

I'm just not sure if this is also the case with the Orochi Blade edition. Anyone with the Orochi Blade who can chime in regarding Bluetooth performance?
