First, depending on what grip you're comfortable with. It's all about the grip. We obviously can tell you're using it for gaming. So here's my two cent:

1. Ouroboros is more to a firm claw grip and Mamba is more suitable for people who use their palm. However, the Ouroboros can be customized to almost fit any grip but not for those gigantic hands.
2. In terms of style, IMO points go to the Ouroboros. If you're all about the style, then go for this. But do note that Ouroboros might not be as comfortable as it is designed for both lefties and right handed people.
3. In terms of weight, both come up to almost the same, you can't tell the difference.
4. You can customize the lightning color on the Mamba but not the Ouroboros.
5. Ouroboros has 11 buttons if I am not mistaken, twice or more compared to the Mamba.
6. Personally I like Mamba's charging dock.
7. In terms of battery life, Mamba wins the point for non stop gaming. Up to 15-16 hours.

There are no cons, just difference in specs. Basically it all comes down to personal preference. My advice is that you go try. Trying means, testing them outside the box. Trust me, it's worth it. Compare them hands on. You'll immediately know which one you want.

IMHO, I'd go for the Mamba. It's like the next gen version of the DA.

I had the same problem with my old Lycosa Mirror. They absorb prints. It's not dust. Just clean it every day.

Avoid firmware for now. Have you tried different ports? Different PCs?

I think the problem here is that you updated to a newer firmware. I am always told to not upgrade the firmware unless problems arise. Right now I am out of ideas. So sorry.

Same here. Reverted back to Windows 7 and everything was okay.

Try checking for dirt. If still not functioning, then the top cover's lid that's supposed to click the clicker inside the mouse is damaged.

Have you tried the new DA 2013? It's really different from all DAs out there. Grips and feel. Imperator's sensors work fine for me. I would not say that it suck balls as I am using it for the past 2 years. Play FPS and Dota 2 just like you.
