Hi everyone. My first post. Booked CFE on 4/05/12.
But still have a little niggling doubt whether to proceed or to cancel my booking.
My question is why a lot of problems that can be rectified at QC stage have to be rectified at SC?
I think this kind of issues is giving a bad impression on PROTON.
Not everybody including myself can always take time off to take the car to SC.
Just want to ask a honest question.
Will Bro like Kiapreve and others who have encountered numerous problems due to shoddy finishing and workmanship willing to recommend the car to others?
Is all the hassle worth it?
All your answers and feedback very much appreciated.
i am too in the same shoe with u few days back. strongly think might delay for 1/2 year only review on preve see those problem resolved or not. if cant wait might go forte, vios or 207.
but again review the latest delivery batch. it seem the major one already resolve specially the OWV problem. the rest are smaller issue which i seen it happen to other brand as well.
do take note preve is the first batch of their own and u cant really compare with other brand. those korea, japan and conti car doesnt launch their first batch production here. so that why u see lots of problem faced here compare with other brand.
after the new batch of engine at the new delivery. i see improvement over the new batch. so i think i am more relief now on getting my preve. yeap. still gonna be preve.

yea, why not go for proven brand like Volkswagen jetta:
ABS, EBD and BA, as well as TCS and ESP, and six airbags (front, front side and front/rear curtain),
1.4 TSI - 160 PS at 5,800 rpm, 240 Nm from 1,500 to 4,500 rpm, + DSG gear box
cmon, comparing a RM148k value with RM73k.... do the math bro~
