In general, airbag sensor are NOT located at the bumper but within the chassis, probably near or in front of the main skeleton frame of the car within the engine bay. When the impact is hard enuf to squash INTO the engine bay, then right onto the hardened main chassis frame within the bay, it will hit the sensor, split seconds trigger the airbag. If you crash the bumper to pieces but not into the engine bay, airbag should not deploy.

10K service ONLY apply if you use Fully Syn lube. For semi and mineral, 5K service.

Try going 10K with semi, by time hit 6-7K, damage done to engine liao. Actually I don't recommend 10K for FS as well. 7K at most, 5k prefered for best long term protection and performance.
