SA said should be ready by the end of this week. my chassis number was 46** ... that batch so far ok l.r.. no wind sound, no rattling dashboard, except for the helicopter sound during brakingAaah that's a relief. Thanks a lot... |

let me share my experience with brakes today. happen couple of hours ago when i go to work.
was in jalan kampung but quite a straight one. need to rush so i drove around 110... suddenly there was this car coming into my lane from the other side.not sure he was doing a u turn or baru keluar simpang. i saw him for miles but i thought he would never get in the lanes. some more there was a car coming from the other side too. since he get in the lanes i have to press on the brakes really hard. so instead of having a usual screeching sound, my brakes sounded like something harsh like it was hitting something. is that normal? im just a bit bothered that it doesnt have a normal screeching sound like a usual car have |

QUOTE(kiapreve @ Jun 5 2012, 10:43 PM) Not mine match formula la... what is COE and COSE?Service Centre Formula la...they need the figure and submit to the technical advisor. Normal should get around 0.17 - 0.20 perkm. Added on June 5, 2012, 10:48 pmNow, may be we can share out which service centre is the best resolve the probs in PREVE. Right now, as i analyst from this forum. COE is the best, but appointment are always full. What is can see, Setapak 3S not bad, at least they have an experts who can do the ECU remapping which is requires for the earlier release Preve. Mutiara Damansara 3S, i can said suck....they have all the machine... but no access code or no experts who can really fix the car probs.... This is what i was told by their Service Engineer & Mechanic itself...that they dont have the ECU open access code and software... |

QUOTE(mrchinot @ Jun 6 2012, 09:06 AM) usually rattling sound becoz cable were not properly tied behind the dash... does this rattling sound occurs only when u are hitting a bumpy road. becoz mine kind of sounded like it when hitting a hole or something. but when driving on a smooth road regardless of the speed. the dashboard is just quiet as a babyhad DIY on my beemer using "cable wrap" (like the picta below)... after wrapping, then tie the cable nicely to any mount/bracket behind the dash using cable tie... after that... sure nampak kemas dan hensem.. ![]() |

QUOTE(ahaks75 @ Jun 7 2012, 02:35 AM) Today I tried manual mode. push the gear stick all the way to the left and driving with paddle shift. Its totally a different experience. Its so nice when you can keep the rpm up to 5k while in first gear before changing to 2nd and so on.... The feeling is great. when actually the right time to change gear? is it during the rpm went between 2 and 3? |

this morning finally able to test the real power of my NCR... location:the new SKVE tol to Banting.. went 160 and is almost going very fast but then a lot of car is blocking my way.. (at this time feel like a bawsee coz can overtake big dudes like 2,3 vios, a few camry...)
when traffic all clear.. finally went for the kill.. but the car feel so heavy and when it gets to 180.. it feels like it wont go faster anymore, push the acc until the floor and finally able to reach 190++. i think i did saw it reaches 200. then it came knocking on my sense.. NCR had not even went for the 1st service yet. so tak berani nak push lagi harder... might even try again after 1st service this saturday... |

QUOTE(aza13 @ Jun 7 2012, 01:03 PM) Guys, needs your advice on the followings: i also face problem no 2.. not just T junction but everytime i want to do cornering.. even when stopping at traffic light.. i guess auto cars dont really have pickup compare to manual cars..(i) Since the car so big, i'm having difficulties to do bay parking . Can any forumers give a tip/method on this beside installing reverse camera? Btw, i'm staying at apartment so bay park is the only choice (ii) I notice the pick up was very slow when i stop at a T junction before taking any cornering. Anybody experience this? Quite dangerous also i would say since i'm still new to driving (iii) When unlock the alarm to open the car, i straight away went to the back seat to do something and didn't start the engine and closed the door. After some time, the alarm will start beeping. How to overcome this? tks |

QUOTE(dares @ Jun 7 2012, 07:31 PM) In Protonic shift paddle mode, it is basically simulating a conventional 7-speed gearbox. So like a 7-speed gearbox, you will experience the shift shock. If you don't want to feel the gear change, just stick to CVT D or S is this shift shock something like what happen to me?usually when stopping the car, the gear will go to 1. and when try to move. i immediately tend to go for 2nd gear, but sometimes it wont let me and instead stick to 1st gear until i got the right rpm. and sometimes also when in 2nd gear, and i tried to shift to 3rd gear, the car also wont let me.. and sometimes instead slowed down and change back to 1st gear. still tak biasa la with this one.heheh |

QUOTE(Pokeman @ Jun 7 2012, 07:51 PM) from s mode, 'papppp' press -ve on paddle shift we got gear 6, the engine "breaking" like Jean Alesi say...got more power at that gear so tapau that car.... is S mode can be use for manual drive? i thought S mode only for auto drive. when you from D.. and want to get extra boost, then go for S for overtaking. then change to D back? sorry i still noob with auto transmission cars |
