Today while sitting on driver seat, my backside itchy, so i try to lift up my buttt and my back press hard against the car seat backrest until i hear a 'praaaaak' sound.

U think it's a wooden board broke half or pocket spring popped in? I don't feel any difference in the hardness of the backrest.  Only felt my buttt no more itchy.  doh.gif

Actually, why need to rev to 5K? max torque from 2K to 4K, rev til 4k then enuff to shift dy, that way you will stay with in the max torque range as you accelerate.
*
Yes, you are right. But, maintain the rev up to 5K, you can hear the nice engine roaring sound a bit longer...smile.gif btw, when you change the gear, the car seems like to drop in speed a bit before move back. I thought with CVT we will not feel the changing gear feel.

In Protonic shift paddle mode, it is basically simulating a conventional 7-speed gearbox. So like a 7-speed gearbox, you will experience the shift shock. If you don't want to feel the gear change, just stick to CVT D or S nod.gif

at first, i'm thinking why they put both paddleshift and gear shift for preve premium...
when i test drive i realize that paddle shift very useful when u are in highway and u want the exact gear on time...

letsay drive at 120km/h...want to potong/tapau civic at the corner....instead of using normal gear shifter, u can save few second faster by using paddle shift...
from s mode, 'papppp' press -ve on paddle shift we got gear 6, the engine "breaking" like Jean Alesi say...got more power at that gear so tapau that car....

but for normal city driving, maybe want to relax, left hand can parked at gear knob..then use - and + to accelerate...hehehe..
