I think they used Syntium 800 10w-30 which only come in 3L bottle instead of 10w-40 (4L)

normally 10-30 is used for Perodua engines, they oni need 3L

In manual stated use grade 10w-30 or higher.
That y they give u 3+1.

currently I'm considering take Preve 1.6 Exec, IAFM engine.. as budget limited, but abit scare it will under power, can any IAFM preve owner kindly let me know how they felt after got the car? Thanks alot

normal driving its okay, the car quite heavy, i usually use S mode for overtaking. it is not underpower. drove with 4 people and luggage.

fell a bit under power when driving through karak-kl. use s mode a when climbing and feel need more power. manage to reach 100kmh near the genting sempah R&R (climbing from karak). maybe i want more.

can cruise at 140-150. 140 the driving still smooth. above that it more rigid.

acceleration to higher speed 110 to 140 a bit slow. handling wise is good. braking is good.

Thanks for the comment, but just to make sure again, your model is CFE or IAFM engine?

IAFM engine still got S mode?
And I read some post in chinese cari forum, 1 of the owner of IAFM engine claimed his car gear display, which is those "P, R, N, D, S" display is no light punya. Is it true?

Don't get me wrong. I'm not putting the Preve in the same class as a BMW. It is certainly not even as powerful as a BMW 320i. Just that the Preve IAFM+ initial pick up has the same characteristic of a BMW 320i- slow off the line, WTF speed once pick up momentum.
