If people can sell for real money, you can too. You can sell your godlike item for cash and use that cash for another item in AH.

About the debate whether Blizzard Staff will internally make some godlike items and sell it, I pretty much doubt it. Who would want to spoil their long term reputation for this kinda money ? Business is not a short term thing.
