http://www.diablowiki.net/DexterityQUOTE Dexterity is one of the core attributes for characters in Diablo III. It governs the chance that a character will Dodge an attack and increases Demon Hunter's and Monk's damage dealt. Each point of Dexterity gives: +x% to Dodge chance. +x to Demon Hunter's damage. +x to Monk's damage. +1 Dex = +1 DH Damage. Hence 5-10 dmg ring does not necessarily gives you more dmg than the 3-6 one. You have to check out the other stats. Also, there's something called screenshot. Learn to use it.

1) Show the SS of the ring as the other stats MIGHT make a difference. 2) Dex adds % for dodge and also Damage. DMG depends and its vary. I would recommend 1 eq with balance stats on both. 3) Its up to the stats of your bow which you want it to be. Only difference is that if you put 2 handed you can equip quiver, but if one handed you have two options to either put another bow or quiver on the off-hand slot.

Is not about Dex/DMG
do the math here,
DPS Caculator =
[(Weapon DMG) + (All DMG Bonus from EQ) + (Skill Dmg Bonus)] x [Weapon Atk Speed-1 + [(1x Bonus ATK Speed)-1] + (Total Dex/100)]
Since you can get massive Dmg from weapon only, so focus only DMG in weapon. Simple Example :
(without counting any other bonus) If you got 1000dex, with Weapon DPS 100, roughly = 1000DPS but if you switch to weapon with DPS120, outcome = 1200DPS
