OK let me explain what I am trying to do.

Current setup

ISP (Unifi) -----    Dlink DIR615    -----    TPLink router    ---------------  Local Lan (mail server)

----------- ---- xxx.xxx.xxx.221 --        xxx.xxx.xxx.222
------------------- --------------------- 192.168.0.1 -------------------    192.168.0.1/24
I am trying to replace both the Dlink DIR-615 and TPLink with just one Microtik 760GL
ISP (Unifi) --------------- Microtik 760GL        --------------------------- Local Lan (Mail server)

------------------------xxx.xxx.xxx.221
-------------------------  192.168.0.1    ------------------------------    192.168.0.1/24
I follow the setup base on klseet setup I cannot find where to create the xxxx.xxx.xxx.222 ip. This IP already as some A Record in the public DNS pointing to it. I know I can do just use xxx.xxx.xxx.221 as our public IP but I would need to update all these record.

Hope you can figure out what I am trying to ask.

Not familiar with Mikrotik but what you want to do is Network Address Translation(NAT). The internet already knows that your location is where they need to go to find x.x.x.221 and x.x.x.222 (TM already did the necessary BGP).

Right now your Mikrotik is not responding to any traffic to x.x.x.222 because it doesn't know where it is so you need to tell the Mikrotik to translate (NAT) your mail server's local LAN IP to x.x.x.222.

Again, I'm not familiar with Mikrotik so I can't tell you how to do this.

Regardless of model, make sure it has good ventilation and is plugged into a surge protector at the minimum.

I have a DIR-615 that hanged for the first time last month after 4+ years of almost non-stop operation, in a server room with air conditioning and in-line UPS, surge protection and clean earth.

dlink dir-615 is one of the worst ap router that existed in this world. There is no need to argue it's usage and so on. This piece of crap should be collected and thrown into the volcano.

Now, on some of the recommendations on replacement. I would not suggest any typical user to user mikrotik because it is a powerful device that have so many features, a normal user will be lost in it's infinite config options. Mikrotik is more for enthusiasts and IT geeks. For normal typical users, go for brands like asus or netgear. Some suggested tp-link as it is cheaper but quality is not as good as others. But it is still 100 times better than stupid dir-615.

Well we weren't using it as anything other than a router. No DHCP, no Wifi, no VoIP. So it was absolutely fine.

I say 'was' because after I posted the above, it hanged everyday for 5 days straight and now I just plug in the Unifi direct to our Peplink Balance 510. Would have done it earlier, but hey, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
