Problem description:

Hi,

Currently our office installed with UnifiBiz 10MB with 1 fix IP with the following setup (example) on the Dlink DIR615

Static PPPoE

Dual Lan Enable

Username: name@unifi.biz
Password: xxxxxxxx

IP Unnumbered Address: 175.189.157.221
IP Unnumbered netmask: 255.255.255.252
Lan Start IP: 175.189.157.222
Lan End IP: 175.189.157.222

Then there is a TPLink 941ND setup as Static IP:

Static IP Address: 175.189.157.222
Submask: 255.255.255.252
Gateway: 175.189.157.221

Everything seems to be work not but the Dlink DIR615 seems to hang on and off and I am considering to replace both the unit with a TPLink WR1043ND flash with OpenWRT but the example give is only for dynamic IP.

Would be great if anyone can help out here.

why is the lan ip look like that?
*
OK let me explain what I am trying to do.

Current setup

ISP (Unifi) ----- Dlink DIR615 ----- TPLink router --------------- Local Lan (mail server)

----------- ---- xxx.xxx.xxx.221 -- xxx.xxx.xxx.222
------------------- --------------------- 192.168.0.1 ------------------- 192.168.0.1/24

I am trying to replace both the Dlink DIR-615 and TPLink with just one Microtik 760GL

ISP (Unifi) --------------- Microtik 760GL --------------------------- Local Lan (Mail server)

------------------------xxx.xxx.xxx.221
------------------------- 192.168.0.1 ------------------------------ 192.168.0.1/24

I follow the setup base on klseet setup I cannot find where to create the xxxx.xxx.xxx.222 ip. This IP already as some A Record in the public DNS pointing to it. I know I can do just use xxx.xxx.xxx.221 as our public IP but I would need to update all these record.

Hope you can figure out what I am trying to ask.
