Display One X wins S3 on SLCD2 non-pentile
Camera No comment yet, need to test S3 first.
Performance S3 wins One X based on the benchmarks tests.
Build Quality One X looks more quality build.
Design One X have a better design. I saw an article that S3 was designed by lawyers instead.

I think HOX display is the best currently available in the market.

QUOTE(DesktopLimousine @ May 30 2012, 03:08 PM) well, im not really going with s3, i still doing a compare between it and one X.. for me, i would like to see Display first, then camera, performance, lastly style.. but i still can figure it out which one is in my criteria Why not you go see the sample phones in Samsung store and HTC store? Then from there you can choose which suits your taste more.

QUOTE(danielcmugen @ Jun 3 2012, 08:49 PM) They wanna relax a bit since the hype will help their sales anyway +1. Like all aunties and uncles all heard the counterparts said S3 is the best smartphone on earth, then all rush to purchase this phone like no tomorrow. IMO, S3 = HOX, both also good phones. But that's a shame that S3 sales so high while HOX sales so low.

QUOTE(KuLi @ Jun 4 2012, 05:38 PM) well, kimchi always like to overhype stuff, like k-pop for example. LOL after looking at s3 screen, it is good but with no WOW factor like H1X. yes, its really that good. +1 Tat day I tried opening webpage Lowyat Forum using S3 and HOX, my goodness... S3 is difficult to read in words, I need to pinch to zoom and read properly, especially words between "q" and "g". However, I have no problem reading using HOX as it is crisp sharp. I read an article before that AMOLED usually wont support high ppi display. This is why S3 needs to enlarge the screen size to lower the ppi which results in lower sharpness. S3 = 306ppi Note = 285ppi HOX = 312ppi Iphone 4S = 336ppi

QUOTE(akifariqarisya @ Jun 8 2012, 11:07 AM) Yup. Example I'm using go SMS. When open on s3 all comes quickly but if on HTC one x to slow for quad core mobile For mine, i did not encounter any lag. U can try to open the camera app, see which is faster? I tried and its HOX. Give it a try.

QUOTE(akifariqarisya @ Jun 8 2012, 02:19 PM) open same for me. but when u capture images and u can see s3 more faster then one x If capture photos, seriously, I dont feel any difference. Both also fast = Both also zero shutter lag. In fact, if wanna compare speed, HOX can capture 99 photos straight at one go vs S3 of 20 shots.

QUOTE(Kevin_Low @ Jun 10 2012, 08:50 PM) Ya, really worth it. I also don't want to waste so much money buy a unable to multitasking phone. What nonsense is this? U mean One X cannot multitask? U tried open 15 apps before in One X before you make a conclusion.

QUOTE(Kevin_Low @ Jun 10 2012, 09:05 PM) LOL, can you multitask in One X? You are talking to Ex HOX owner Here. Try to do a video that you can multitask up to 15 application. Irony. Have u tried open a video, press home button, then play dark meadow, press home button, reply whatsapps, press home button, browse LYN then return to your video? Android is design to multitask and yet you say One X could not multitask.

QUOTE(Kevin_Low @ Jun 10 2012, 09:26 PM) HTC already stated they design that way that One X is aggressively in multitask. Why you still don't believe it. Go check this video, you should understand how HOX actually works. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7Uo5f2vSxoI follow your youtube, click Pulse, open browser, click few more apps and so on then return to Pulse, no reloading. Maybe only yours is like tat. I haven heard of other ppl complaining in our official HOX thread also.
