Hey guys/ owners of Desa Green:

I have a unit at Block B, 719sqft

Currently already engaging a Interior Design friend to look at the built-ins and plaster ceiling quotation already.
So ganzheong that it's gona VP in Dec (rumored?)  , way too soon than expected!

Anyways, if you guys interested for basic reno, maybe can join together use same person to reduce cost.

You know what my ID told me, all material cost expected to go up 20-30% Oct/Nov.
So its advisable to finalize the designs and book the materials first. (((BEFORE RM weakens further  cry.gif  cry.gif )))

So far i got my first sketch done. Damn KiaSu right.. sigh... what to do. lock in first before price hike.
PM me if interested.

Seems like a good idea, but still too soon for me.

Nearby AK  3 beds RumaWIP just 600 meters selling 198K.

Desa green is overprice if developer or owner dont lower down price.

Hear the none- Rumawip high end  selling 500psf by AK too.
*
Umm... I don't understand your logic.
RumahWIP is made affordable, that's why its called rumahWIP. Why should DG drop the price?

Doesn't matter which location, the price can be different even if its side by side, let alone 600 meter.

Those who want affordable price, then get rumahWIP, and for those who can afford DG, then go for it.
Its a free market.

Bumped into this http://www.lifestyle.property/new/kl-south/desa-green

Still have limited unit  hmm.gif

This thread started in 2012, already 5 years down the road, the developer unit not yet clear off, is a testimony of how slow is the current property market ? or rather some hidden problem in the apartment ?

The location is very strategic, with KLCC view somemore, thinking to invest a unit for airbnb but worrying about the real reason why it's not completely sold after so many years! Anyone here has clue ?
*
Yup, like what AskarPerang said, UOA never release all the units in one go.
They release certain floor at a time, thus, the leftover.

Heard my friend went to sales gallery few years back and interested to get a unit, but the sales gallery told them sold out.

looooooooong time never come to this thread liao. Enjoyed catching up. The inifinity pool is great. so is the gym. nice super view

Lemme answer some query here:
erm, no smell from oxidation pond wor. Unit easily rented out. So far, only seen Chinese people hanging around. Some ang mo. Spoke to some nice Malays. Security is really good. Cannot come to your unit if you not home lah, guard is strict. They have to call and make sure you have guests if not they won't allow them up.  For those who worries about no guard in parking. No need guard, your access card cannot go in through other floors. At night, the lights of parking are very bright.

I also realised, the good ones are seldom discussed cause is super easy to rent out, so no need to discuss banyak-banyak. Glad I can contribute to the thread!

Good to hear some positive review regarding condo once in a while.
Like what you said, normally good ones no need to discuss banyak-banyak.

HTC runs sideway and telco pole is in front.

ah, noted, trying to find it.
say when you are standing towards DG, the HTC runs sideway on the right or on the left? near the railroad?
Front as in across the bridge?

Saw a lot of “for rent” advertisement on this development, wondering why. Investors > own stay?
*
Probably cause of the locations is in the middle of urban area, can easily reach KL or PJ. Suitable for young people with City lifestyle.
Larger family probably prefer to stay in suburb area.

From what I've heard, the installation of CCTV already approved by majority in the latest AGM meeting.
After CCTV installed, these break-ins should stop.

The thief will usually wear sunglasses and hootie.....

Without a clear footage of him broken the unit or stealing, footage of him going in n out will not put him in jail.
*
Yeah, probably, but with cctv, they will have a video footage showing how the person look like, the body built, the type of shirt, the size, the race, male or female, a group or alone.
all these details is way better than nothing. The face may be covered but it will be an evidence of what happened and what to lookout for and for the police to crack the case.
Plus, I think thieves will think twice before trying if there's cctv.

Read the article and the comments below it. I concur with one of the posters that its an inside job where the crook must be living on the same floor as the victim and stake out the movements of the neighbours for a long time before burgling the unit.

Kudos for the approval to install the CCTVs. The crook may disguise him/herself to fool the camera, but at least it may capture which unit the fella escaped to. hmm.gif
*
Yeah, luckily the majority of residence in DG are voting for cctv installation, good fer them biggrin.gif
